    I don't think any of them are free. The only free hot savoury drink would be Bovril which is yummy. Why don't you drink tea or coffee? I drink Red bush tea, or decaff tea/coffee.

    It does say in the bit for casserole version to add 1/2 pint water. You may need less in a slow cooker as the lid makes a seal and as long as you don't keep lifting it to peek the moisture will stay in the pot.

    Made this last night. Tasted really good. Some of the coating stuck to the baking tray so will use a non-stick sheet next time. Only used half the bovril, chilli and pepper. Didn't add mixed spice but might add some next time. Daughter said it was better than real KFC!

    The only ones I have seen have a scan bran or weetabix topping. Think I would rather have them plain with a dollop of quark on top. Try the strudle in the latest Magazine with different fruit. Apples and blackberrys maybe?

    Quiche is yummy had to try a bit before it went in the fridge. Overcooked the veg a bit before putting in the dish as they went to mush. Tasted good though. Hope daughter likes it as gave her a chunk for lunch at school.

    Just made a huge quiche with 6 eggs and quark. Mushrooms, peppers, onions, ham and cheddar (Hex), also added Pasta and sauce (tomato and onion) but drained off most of the sauce. Would put a picture on but i can't yet. It looks good.

    My husband makes a wonderful Foccacia which he is dying to make but as my daughter and myself are doing SW he will be in trouble if he does. :mad: We have both lost over 1 stone each in 12 weeks and are feeling really pleased with ourselves.:) I think this is a good steady weight loss.

    I am doing Extra easy so no worries about potatoes or parsnips. I do miss my bread though as I used to make my own, can only have a little now. Your dinner sounds almost the same as mine except hubbie is cooking it. Just hope he remembered no oil!!! He has not got the hang of this diet yet...
