    Lunch Ideas

    I always try to make extra for tea then take the left overs to warm up. Or you could make some soup and freeze in batches and take some of that. I'm having to buy my lunch today as I didn't make extra last night so will probably buy some salad and tuna.

    MINCED BEEF

    This one does cause a bit of a debate. I dont use mince very often but when I do I do exactly the same as you and I think quite a few other on here do as well. If money was no object I would buy the extra lean stuff but it is sooo expensive.

    Chocolate Twist...

    We have cakes etc on birthdays at work as well. There are 2 of us on SW at the mo and we have started asking for Muller lights instead of a cake. People dont seem to want to leave you out when you say no to cake but if you ask for something else instead they are quite happy with that.

    If you still feel you need chocolate I always have a cadburys highlights hot chocolate and that seems to take away some of the craving. Also if you have your hexA for milk it makes it creamier and more filling.

    biggest weight gain

    I did the same and went off plan for about 4 weeks and gained 5lb. Ii was sort of back on the wagon last week but i think I was just hanging on to the back! Only lost 1lb. Back 100% this week so hopefully I will shift the gain from xmas. Well done for not giving up.

    Thanks for the support. Once i get in the swing of it I find it really easy. I am also trying to stop using my syns for snacks like crisps/chocolate and use them for my meals instead. Obviously I will still eat chocolate but only if I really want it and not just because it is there!

    Stir fry sauces

    I add garlic, chilli and ginger to mine. Then just at the end I put a bit of very low fat natural yoghurt in. Gives it a slight creamy taste and its syn free!

    I did the same with a fizzy drink once. My old consultant said to mix it with the diet one so you dont waste it but its nowhere near as many syns. I did 1 quarter full fat to 3 quarters diet!
