Anyone wanting to lose over 8 stones?

Morning Annie.. Well done on your 1/2lb off - a loss is a loss at the end of the day. My ww leader also said in class about watching how much fruit you eat as it can make a big differenct to your loss and stick to your 5 a day. I would say if you're feeling like its hormones it probably is...

can I expect a loss next week?

Well to be honest, I wasn't going to go back to curves so much for the calorie burn or the weightloss. I just wanted to make sure I tone up my muscles as I'm losing weight. It really is fantastic to see such results, but I do have quite a lot of weight to lose and want to do what I can about...

Yes, Curves is the women only 30 minute work out. Its a circuit. You switch every 30 seconds between a toning machine like weights but uses hydraulics , there's no messing about with weights etc. and 30 seconds on a recovery pad where you would march in place etc until you move to the next...

My guess would be that you haven't been having enough to eat for your balanced meal..... the guide says your plate should be 1/4 meat and 3/4 veggies... would that be about right for what you had tonight? Also I dont think one extra snack in one day is going to make a huge bit of difference to...

Absolutely - the fastest way to fail is to deny yourself a little bit of something you fancy. I've found it's the quickest way to a massive blow out so some soda bread once a week won't harm you too much in the long run.
  168. dellybelly

    meals/snacks?

I'm sure you'll get used to it. To be honest - I find now that looking for bread or a sandwich is just a habit. If I make a big deal of my snacks... (chopping the apple and cheese etc). then I enjoy them just as much.

no Sam. Ryvita have carbs. the purpose of CS is a low carb diet. .. there are some carbs in the shakes as far as I know but your snacks are focused on low carb foods. .. a handful of nuts (not salted)... certain fruit, some lean meat, cheese and veggies. so I'd say ryvita are out. TBH. I...

    Dellybelly's diary -serves me right!

Thanks so much girls:D - but I have to say, I do feel like a fraud. I put the 2lbs loss down to being weighed earlier in the day and the fact that I hadn't had a poo for two days before I had my first weigh in.:o Still it all counts in the end eh:p And I have to say, I'm quite enjoying doing...

Ohh, Mrs, that sounds rotten.!!! Well done on your 5kgs off, and remember to pamper yourself now and again when things get too much. As for your Daughter wanting to come back to England, it's probably just a little bit of homesickness and settling in problems. She'll be fine in a while.

    Just a quick question.

as vodka99 says, it's best if you do use all of your points in a day, unless you have a special occasion to save up for. The reason being that you may affect your weightloss by consistently undereating...

mylmat, I would say that maybe if you're going above the recommended 14 alcohol points you may have water retention or sluggish digestion, but to be honest, since you've lost 2lbs, I wouldn't worry about it. If your results slow down, I'd think about it then.

    Anyone else doing core plan?

Tiara, it definitly is difficult and I really have been as bad as I think - because I wrote it all down in my food diary! You're right about the differences between the 2 plans and that's the beauty of WW. Some people just couldn't bear to be told what to eat or drink and like to have the...

    Help please: alcohol and WW

I'm sorry to rain on your parade, but if you look at the eat wisely book, they recommend that you spend no more than 14 points per week on sugary food and alcohol. What I would say is, if it's not affecting your weightloss right now, then keep going as you are, but if you find that it's...

    Anyone else doing core plan?

Hi, Tiaramaker - your way of eating sounds so much like me. I eat sensible dinners but treat myself with complete rubbish and then go off plan altogther. I'm supposed to be on a kick start week doing points and I've only stuck to my points one day this week. I'm looking at GAINING for my first...

Here they are - the refurbed house from hell

Sorry, Anna, Haven't been online all week as I've been studying for an interview - No, I don't own the house, it's my Father in Law's house and he was off touring Oz for 3 months and we were doing it up for him (had to clean it first though). BIG BIRDY - it was the house from hell because it hadn't been decorated in YEARS - we're talking 12 or more. I almost always plan my dinners - more as a money saving exercise than anything else.
