It's me again, with wedding photos! (pic heavy)

My hubby and I are quirky souls so we tried to inject as much of ourselves as possible into the day without it ending up like a punk festival. We have a lot of friends and family and we wanted them all to have a good time- from the pictures at the end of the night it looks as though they did...

It's me again, with wedding photos! (pic heavy)

Aw thankyou everyone, I had a wonderful day although wish there were a couple of things that had gone differently. Had a great time, glad I've never got to do it again!! Thankyou, the photos don't do them justice but I made them myself! We had a bit of a nautical theme and I wanted them to...

It's me again, with wedding photos! (pic heavy)

Hello all, long time no speak (I will be back full time one day!) I've had a couple of pm's asking how the wedding went and I know you were all super intrigued about my bridesmaids so I thought I'd post a few pics. All very narcissistic of course! I hope you are all well :) JVS xxx

    Week 1 complete!

So I lost 8lb in week 1, which I'm very impressed with especially as it's my "star" week! The only downside is that my skin is awful, I'm hoping this is just all the crap coming out because of my water intake and next week I'll be glowing. Having read a lot online, I've decided I'm going to...

    I'm Sorry.

I don't know if I've just gone into it with a lot of enthusiasm because I know I haven't got to do it for long! After my dress fitting I'll be back on sensible SW :)
  7. JezVonSavage

    I'm Sorry.

Mrstore- I'm just doing it for a couple of weeks leading it up to my dress fitting! After that it's back on SW, hopefully this will just be the little kick up the bum I need!! Pie- wedding planning finally all done and dusted- nothing left to do except turn up on the day :) Got my sailor...

    Day 1

I lost 4 stone on SW 6 years ago and put it all + more on. SW didn't teach me about healthy eating habits although it taught me lots of healthy recipes: the two just aren't the same! I'm hoping that this makes me learn only to eat when I'm hungry.

What day or week are you on? Inspiration needed

Wouldn't it be worth telling your Mum that this is a diet recommended by GP's and Obesity experts? At the end of the day, you are doing this to benefit both yourself and your children. It may not be a standard way to lose weight, but I gather you've tried other diets to no avail? This may sound...

    POO

I was not eating that many carbs and was drinking about 4 litres of water a day, plus at least half of my daily intake was fruit or veg! The doctor who, ahem, performed the enema thought maybe my guts had gone into shock with the the drastic overnight change in diet. I was the talk of the SW...

    HELP

I'm only on day 4!!!! So no recorded losses as of yet, but I know how bad I felt 2 days ago compared to how GREAT I feel now and I know that 2 days ago, when I really wanted to give up, I'm so glad I didn't because now I'm on a roll :) So not much of a success story for you there but hopefully...

    I'm Sorry.

I've defected to Lipo Trim. Only for a few weeks mind! I have got a wedding dress to fit in after all and my SW losses stalled (because I started eating lots of crap). I'm sowweeeeeeeeee :o

    POO

Everyone loves a good poo thread, right? I'm shocked that mine has been so standard. On my first week at SW I ended up so constipated that after 12 days I had to go to A&E for an enema :o I sort of thought that less food would mean less poo, but obviously not......

does anyone know if you can add salt and papper to the soups?

I've been adding a shot of coffee to the vanilla and choc and having them warm- I much prefer it. I also tried adding one of the minty strip things to my choc but I couldn't really taste it and I was afraid of adding 2 :s I'm only on week 1 so no loss yet but salt & pepper have been a life...

    Day 1

I'm not on day 4 and I have to say I feel amazing! Early nights and all this water really is doing me good, i feel better than I ever have. No problems at the mo with hunger, i've realised how much eating I must have done just because of boredom!

What day or week are you on? Inspiration needed

I'm only on day 3 so no weight loss but I have to say I feel great. Early nights plus lots of water is obviously working wonders. Today was my first day in work since starting and I was dreading it, but I actually found the work a welcome distraction and can honestly say I've not felt that...

Anther new starter...with some concerns :(

I must say, i feel a lot better today (day 3) than I have all weekend. I think being in work helps as it's keeping my mind off things, plus i'm back to my usual intake of coffee (black) so the headches have subsided! I've been thinking to myself, "well it's day 3 today, so that's practically...

    Haters!

I've found that the most supportive people are my "thin" friends. It's as if "fat" friends want you to remain their Dominoes Pizza buddy for life and never get any healthier; they will be negative about any weight loss plan even if it's as standard as healthy-eating and exercise. I've had so...

The light only stays on in for 10 minutes- it's pretty darn uncomfortable so I'm glad, but the actual tooth whitener stays on for upto 1 hour (you are suppose to build it up, so I've had it in for 20 tonight, then 30 tomorrow etc). The peroxide is basically in a boil and bite mouth guard...

Help with accessories for a dress!

Have you considered hiring a hat? I always hire. Costs around £40 usually but you'll end up with something much nicer than what you would get if you bought on the same budget. I hired this one for a wedding a couple of weeks back. This actually cost me £60 to hire, but it was worth £800...

    Kids paying housekeeping?

Can the party girl finally slim down??

I worked on a photoshoot a few weeks back inspired by "clashing pastels". Pink + blue, lemon + lilac, peach + mint. It all looked awesome! Plus, you can then take the opportunity to treat yourself to an OCC Lip Tar in another clashing shade (my most coveted product of the moment).

    Reducing wrinkles?

I think there is also a truth in the concept that if you start using anti-aging products at a young age and then stop, your skin will be in turmoil. Heeey, your work sounds as chaotic as mine :D What do you do? Well done on your losses so far- I'm a bit jealous that you can actually stick to the gym! One can only dream. And well done on getting the asparagus down, bleurgh

Don't you just hate it when....

Actually I have to disagree with this- it's bad breeders and stupid owners (be their intentions in the right place or not). My collie was a rescue dog at 9 weeks because a family had bought her to amuse their kids and they thought a border collie was the same size as a jack russell. Fast forward...
  103. JezVonSavage

Don't you just hate it when....

There are loads of dog breeds with problems- if we criticized every owner for their choice of dog we'd be stood here all day. I've got a collie, she wouldn't work for toffee, in fact if it's too wet she's reluctant to go out all, yet I get told all the time that a collie is a working dog and...

    Unthoughtful people!

And me! I ended up with a job that has nothing whatsoever to do with my degree yet I earn more than I would in the career I took my degree for.....baffling! And an absolute waste of 3 years and lots of money.....
  105. JezVonSavage

Don't you just hate it when....

What was he shouting about? Inbreeding? I bet he wouldn't have said it to someone walking a rottweiler or a shar-pei!
  106. JezVonSavage

    Shirleen's 2012

Hmm I agree that a single dark colour is easy. I'm riddled with grey so I use a tint every 4 weeks that costs me £3 in Home Bargains (schwarzkopf one, red box). At that price I have no excuse for not keeping up with it! Plus it only takes twenty mins. Given that I spend a lot on makeup, tan and...

Actually this could be three different people! No, can't make my mind up. Have you ever had it red?
  110. JezVonSavage

    Shirleen's 2012

You must be the only person in the world who suits every hair colour ever? (b1tch!) I like *all* of them on you, but I think you look youngest with the middle colour. But then i'm also a fan of big hair and I particularly like the style in the second photo so is that confusing me??? :sigh:

I think eyebrows can make a massive difference to your face, but then some people are naturally well endowed in the eyebrow department and admittedly it's a hassle to keep up with once you start! Shirleen, Nyx Cosmetics do a huuuuuuge range of pencils with a variety of base colours- they do a grey (might be called charcoal) which isn't too dark but dark enough for someone with dark hair to get away with iykwim. In your instance it would be a case of having to draw them on- apart from...

    Whitechapel

I think we were supposed to think he was him because he came accross as sinister, but I'm not sure it can be him because he was in the police station when the whole street thing occurred? Unless he's put a lunatic up to it?
  121. JezVonSavage

I wouldn't bother- it's not very interesting!! In other news, look what I've been watching: Nautical Knots (For those of you who don't know, Shirleen came up with the amazing idea to have a wedding bouquet made out of nautical knots. I know, she's a genius!)
  122. JezVonSavage

The ONE critical error you have made is weighing yourself before weigh in. DON'T!! Just see how you get on in 2 days, your food diary looks fine. I weighed myself midweek once and it said i'd put 2lbs on  but then I got to weigh in and lost 2lb. So I learnt to stop doing that.

OOoof, couldn't be having that  Good luck anyway, feel free to ask any questions. Pop into my diary, it gets pretty lively but we tend not to talk about food! It's like the official makeup, shoes and girly crap thread xx

I suppose we can technically enjoy a lot of potato on EE too but when I do that I stop pooing, haha, so it's not recommended :sick0019: It was quite hard to cut through and such an odd nobbly shape!

BordersGirl's Final Phase to Goal - I lost 6 stone!!

I just cancelled the insurance in the end. It was hardly cheap and I was annoyed that they'd just taken it off me,as you say, without her actually biting anyone. It's even more infuriating that my estate is littered with illegal dog breeds who are left to roam the streets, poo everywhere and...

Oh my V-day pressie?? OH managed to pick them himself  He got me an egg poacher for Xmas so I was shocked to say the least! I'm not going to go too mad on the old celeriac as I reckon I'll go off it pretty soon! Generally anything that requires too much effort does not become a staple of...

Well yes, she herds everything and we have to be careful with her and kids. She'd never bite one, but it can look quite intimidating when she goes into herding mode. I'll try the Thundershirt, she likes small places and getting under duvets so I can imagine she will respond well to it, but I...

Well I must say I've had my celeriac and I thought it tasted like parsnip? Nothing groundbreaking but would defo have it on my roast as a superfree instead of parsnips and roasties. Anyway, in an attempt to make this diary more "foody", here is my tea: Chicken breast, couple of sw roasties...

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate that you are not a behaviorist but you've offered better and more realistic advice than some of the "professionals" (one of them cost me £400!) She has Bach RR over bonfire night as she really suffers, as well as Adaptil plug in and a sedative from the vet...

PRIMER: It's like when you have to put a "base coat" on your walls before decorating. Actually, there are a lot of similarities between makeup and decorating.
