hiya everyone,
some of you might remember me i started the diet back in January, after a few months of sickness and stomach complaints i came to the conclusion it must be the exante products, took a break and this week i started back on the cambridge diet.
i just thought i'd come and say hi...
hello everyone, i just wanted to say i'm back :)
i go back to work tommorrow after nearly 9 months off with stress, my arsehole, bully of a manager got the sack during my abscence, he was found to be 'cooking the books' and got the boot for it :)
also for the last month the dr took me off...
I'm still here, finding things very difficult at the mo, had a stomach upset ans some very low points which have resulted in my putting on weight and i'm really struggling to get back on it :(
Thanks for thinking of me
i found when i did the cambridge diet a few years back that my hair started to thin out so i started taking multivitamins because even though they say it has your rda of vitamins i found that just boosting them stopped my hair falling out :)

are you a doctor???? I came to this forum for help and support from fellow dieters, i did not come here to be ridiculed or shouted down, you could have chosen a less aggressive way of putting your point across, I think I'll have to find somewhere else to go and get support, thanks
i just found that sainsburys strawberry&kiwi (fizzy), raspbery&cranberry(still) and apple&blackberry(still) also do not contain citric acid AND they don't contain that nasty aspartame sweetner in them either!!
I'm up for a feb challenge :)

yeah there is did you not get a leaflet with your pack? you have 4 weeks of 3 shakes a day then on week 5 you have your 3 shakes and a 200cal meal for a week, hope that helps.
ok had my WI today on my new scales so these are the ones i'll go by from now on and I've lost 4lbs since last sat, might be more, might be less than that cos i don't know whether last weeks WI was accurate cos my old scales are fecked!!
So that means I'll deffinatley have to up my january...
don't let one slip up knock you off course, you had a blip, forget about it and start again. You can do this, deciding to do something about your weight is a major step. Don't dwell on your mistake, no one is perfect :)
the weighing scales i had that i weighed myself on originally have started to act up, i weigh different amounts withing seconds of weighing myself, bloody thing, so I bought myself a new set of weighing scales and weighed myself on those and now either i've not lost a jot so far this week even...
i think with the cambridge diet they made up the excuse about nutrients when making the shakes hot, but i think the real reason is the aspartame (sweetner) in the cambridge shakes.
i have had alot of bad reactions to aspartame and i found this on a site about it.
"Two isolated...
thats exactly how i feel, my best mate is a nurse and is very down on the diet i am doing cos she doesn't think it'll work blah blah blah, but she's never had to worry about her weight, she's like a stick, so i've just not told her about it this time. She's quite tall, about 6ft so she looks...

I keep thinking about going swimming but as some of you have aready said, i'm worried about my hair, lol. Its platinum blonde(dye job, lol) and i don't want it...
finally i thread with people who have a lot to lose!! I have 13.6st to lose to reach my ideal bmi, but my first goal is to lose 6st in the next 6 months as i have been set that as a goal by the hospital infertility clinic, i have to show that i mean business before they will start any...
no offence but your 'colleages' sound like arseholes, choosing to lose weight is your choice not theirs, tell em to stuff it! what an unsupportive bunch of idiots, i'm huessing they're all sticks that have never had to worry about losing weight.
Well enough ranting, well done on your loss!!!!
hi there
does anyone want to swap with me? I can't get on with the soups but i love the shakes i have 6 mushroom, 6 vegetable, 6 thai chicken, 7 tomato and basil (when they arrive as they were left out of my bumper pack, been assured they are on their way). let me know if anyone wants to trade...
anyone want to swap their shakes for soups, i'm not to keen on the soups, glad i only ordered one of the mixed bumper pack, I ordered just shakes for the rest of them :)
I am exactly the same, tv adverts really aren't helping, lol. i know i'm in ketosis an i've lost 6lbs in 2 days but i can't stop thinking about eating and if i do i know thats it, game over. Its so hard :( wasn't this hard the first time unless it was so hurrendous my mind blocked it out!!
wow the pct must be very strict round your way then as they said to us that the goal is 30bmi but will start treatments at 40, i have to get to 40 to show i'm serious i guess. We've had alsorts of bloodtests and hubby's had his swimmers counted and all is fine with us, they just want to...
