I made this tonight and was yum! Few tweaks, beef stock cube, salt and pepper, lil dash of lea and perrins, and I like it a lil hotter, so whole teaspoon of chili, and fresh chilis too, ummmm lush! X

Its because they use 'creamer' or 'coffee mate' to whiten it, I love it! X

Same for me but hexa is only there so that you get your recommended dose of calcium otherwise it would be synned! I dont always use all mine x

I used half my measured milk (otherwise I wouldnt use it all) skimmed, a cup of flour and a very small amount of olive oil to cook, made 6 yorkshires and I had 2? Hmmm tricky! X

If I made yorkshires using milk (hexa) flour egg and 1/2 teaspoon olive oil to cook them in, how many syns per yorkshire? X

Not at the moment, only just joined so not sure I know what im doing entirely! I had what I thought was a 1 syn breakfast (wholemeal pita, trimmed bacon, tbsp ketchup) turned out to be 8 syns :-( then had a syn free meal (im assuming) home made spagbol with a bit of greated cheese on for hexa...

That is 1 teaspoon of the spread is 1.5 syns, if you use 2 to make it up then half of what you make is 1.5 syns as the other ingredients (onion, balsamic vinegar, stock cube) are all free! X

Dont know the syn value but you can make your own low syn gravy just google jamie oliver onion gravy and substitute the butter for flora lighter than light, 1 teaspoon is 1.5 syns x

Thanks ladies, admittedly I dont pay to go to slimming world because I cant afford it, not long had a baby and me and my partner were made redundant when I was pregnant! Im just desperate to do slimming world to shift the baby weight :-( feel like ill never get it right without going to meetings...

Thanks ladies, for 2 people I would probs only use a tablespoon, so the syns are split between 2, so it is better than bisto syn wise, and so damn tasty! X

Im trying to work out whether theres a decent low syn spread that I can use to cook with, I have a recipe for a home made onion gravy which is made up of red onion, garlic, balsamic vinegar, stock cube and a nob of butter, if I can find a decent low syn one its surely better than instant gravy?
