    I found that I couldn't eat bought pasta sauces after I started making my own because they are far too sweet. It's ridiculous how much sugar is in them! I tend to avoid foods that list sugar as one of the top 5 ingredients.

    I think they are so focused on the antibiotics making the pill not work they forget about everything else. My sister managed to get pregnant while on the pill and using condoms so I had to make sure in case the hyper fertility was genetic :D but I'm guessing you wouldn't change your 2 for anything!

    Yeah it's in some of the literature in the that there needs to be an increase in dose if the woman is over a certain weight but it's only when I asked my doctor he was like 'oh yeah I suppose so'! Not made clear at all.

    Sadly one thing I look forward to is my medication doses to going down! I hated going to my doctor to get my contraceptive pill as I had to take a higher dose when I got over 14 stone as it meant I had to get weighed more often than I'd like!

    Actually you need to check your TSH level in order to look at thyroid function. But a full blood count is always good to check. Maybe also get a ferritin test to make sure your iron levels are ok as low levels will make you feel knackered.

    I've been off plan for a month or so and have just got back on it but I'm trying to see it as a positive. I'd lost 2 stone when I went off plan but although I'd stopped losing I managed not to gain. So I've managed to change my eating habits enough not to go start my weight going back up.

    I'd suggest that your hunger is more psychological. Physically you would be full but don't feel that veg could fill you up enough. I'm the same with soups. If I haven't chewed then it doesn't count as food!

    Also you should be careful not to overdose on bananas as lots (and I mean lots) could increase your potassium levels which isn't too healthy.

    I think that's why I reckon it might help to start off on red and green days in order to learn or relearn how to recognise that you're satisfied so don't need anything more to eat and then move on to the EE days when you can control yourself. Because I know it was a real struggle for me.
