    Who needs Greggs?!

My consultant said that 1 sheet filo pastry = 3.5 syns. Syn free sausages (there is a butcher up here in lancs that makes them) beans and HEA cheese wrapped in a sheet filo pastry = greggs style pasty. Im going to use a quiche filling recipe to make a cheese and onion pasty. Thought id share!

    Frylight Spray

I used to worry about this because I used a fair amount, esp when cooking say, quorn mince. I reasoned that if you spray it even 20 times, thats only 20 calories which is probably less than a banana or apple!!

    SW tomato soup?

I dont know whether fresh cooked carrots or spaghetti hoops would work...it wouldnt hurt to try and im sure it wouldnt be too bad. I think its one of those recipes that you can tweak, with roasted skinned peppers or red onion...whatever you fancy...

    SW tomato soup?

My consultant did mention chicken stock but that might have been a preference of hers. I may try it without the stock. Also I have a slow cooker and it may taste good done that way!

In group my consultant gave me a recipe Tin carrots Tin baked beans Tin tomatoes Chicken stock Pickled onion Bring to the boil and then simmer. You may need to use a blender too. Apparently it tastes just like a popular creamy brand. Has anyone tried it?
