Just made a batch of this and on first tasting it's yummy!!..... i've added some chilli sauce to it aswell to give it a little boost!!

I love this recipe!!! But i couldn't get chicken bovril today, but have found that oxo do stock in a tube that is very similar to bovril, i bought this and it makes a brilliant substitute!!

The recipe i use is....... 1 red onion 1 red pepper 1 clove garlic 1 box (500g) passata 1 pint veg stock 1 Basil plant granulated sweetner fry the onion and pepper til soft, add garlic and fry for 1 minute. Add passata and veg stock and simmer for 20 mins. add sweetner and basil plant and...

Ok don't think I am mental but I do this thing to chicken breasts where i bash them thinner egg them then cover them in dry stuffing mix...... i was just wondering how many syns this would be...... it will probably just be the stuffing mix but i don't have one at hand to check the calorie value...

Yeh boiling the chicken then putting it in the oven does dry it out somewhat. But well worth a try!

have to say this was yummy!!....... can't say it tasted like KFC but it was definately a tastey alternative..... will definately be doing it again...... i might try coating the chicken raw and frying with fry light as it was a tad dry after being in the oven!! :D:D:D

yup the others are right...... your start weight was 321lb so it is 321 divided by 100 then multiplied by the percentage you want ie, in this case 10!! As the merecats say..... shimples!!

Thanks Ali!!..... i'm really enjoying myself and it's also made me a little bit more organised as I prepare my work lunch for both me and my b/f instead of waking up and grabbing my purse and buying any old crap at work. I love cooking aswell and the fantastic recipes on here have kept me busy!

I don't think leaving altogether is the answer. Why not try and speak to the regional Manager about the poor way in which this group is being run. If you think it's not up to scratch i'll bet others feel the same!.... this is a big step in your life you have taken and you need all the support...

I've never understood this whole blending pureeing thing!! Ok so for example if you blend/puree a banana it makes it more sins right?? So what the hell does chewing do?? is that not the same thing?? or am i just being a thicko?? :confused::confused::confused::confused:
