    Breakfast ideas

I've found a way of making Bircher muesli slimming world friendly! I fell in love the with creamy oaty goodness on a cruise in the summer and have been craving it ever since, normal overnight oats aren't the same! The actual recipe calls for fruit juice, but I just substituted undiluted sugar...

Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Nice to see some old faces still mingling around here - Nikki, deb, Kim etc. :) I'm back after hitting rock bottom and eating too much peanut butter to compensate. Currently at 10st 11 and looking to reach 9 to 9.7 again so my jeans will fit without a muffin top! The 8's (and 7's...) we're way...

    Red day help please

Hi there. Just noticed your post - on red days rice is synned so your day would be a better example of an extra easy day. On red days, potatoes, starchy veg, beans, lentils and pasta etc are all either a healthy extra or synned. Hope that helps.

    Charliemm's Extra Easy Food Diary

Hello lovely, sorry I've not been around recently - having a few food issues at the moment and need a break from counting syns and restricting. Fodmap is actually going pretty well, it's been hard to cut out gluten when I'm out of the house, and everywhere I eat out there are onions! So not...

Not having a brilliant tummy time at the minute, my dietician gave me some info on the FODMAP elimination diet for IBS which is definitely compatible with SW so am giving that a try. It's had some success, more so than the low fibre diets recommended by the NHS! X

So I've been trying to be a little less obsessive about my diary over the last week or so, which has involved writing down syns and healthy extras only. Before, every time something passed my lips I'd be straight on my phone recording it, and it was getting a little out of hand. However...

Sounds like a good idea re the running Donna, most training plans for half marathons will take you up to at least 10 miles before the race. I've given myself enough time to go well over (I'm doing a 14 mile long run tomorrow!) before my first half. 2 miles increase a week is plenty for your long...

Of course, though there's not really a recipe! You'll need: Eggs Vanilla essence Sweetener Whisk the eggs with a couple of drops of essence and a little sweetener until the mixture is really frothy. A good indication is when it gets quite stiff and you can make 'peaks' in it. Spray a pan...

Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Ah, it's probably got a lot to do with the shred then, glad to know I'm not the only one! :) I definitely don't feel like I've put any weight on but my arms and thighs seem a lot more toned - am going to stick with it! X Great positives :) I'm seeing the benefits of the shred so hopefully it...

If you want to weigh on a sat I think you should maybe take today's weight as a starting point? You have such massive losses when you're on plan! Well done :) I really don't like being over target even though I'm still in the range lol, psychological thing I guess! We're going to see Lockout :)

Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

So despite a 100% week with 3 shreds and 4 runs, I have gained 1.75lbs to take me to 119.5 lbs. According to my measurements I've gained half an inch on my tummy - which sounds about right as I've been super bloated this week. I'm thinking that some of the gain comes from introducing the shred...

I was on EE for a year and a half and still had losses. I've dabbled with red days but I love my pasta too much! I think to begin with you might be better off just sticking with EE and see how you go.

Yeah definitely, I try and drink as much as I can but I rarely drink water. I have green tea, diet coke, tea, coffee, squash etc. I've read before that it doesn't matter what you drink as long as you try and have 6 (I think) glasses a day. Sometimes if I feel hungry, a drink I all j need to tide...
