    Secret Eaters

Exactly! I should have an engineering degree after some of my feats! I think it's better to make a conscious decision to eat better/less on a normal size plate so that you can portion your food more easily in most situations. Not many places offer smaller plates these days.
  10. R

    Secret Eaters

I thought the very same thing about the weighing too - and also the "if you have a smaller bowl for your icecream then you will eat less icecream" was a fairly obvious one too. The issue I have is that I know I am eating from a smaller plate when I have tried that principle!!

    Tesco Tikka Curry Powder

You can put a cinnamon stick in chilli too. You could put cloves in a stew, just one or two. I remember doing a medieval thing in [primary] school where we cooked meat pies and they def had cloves in them. They are a bit of an acquired taste though! You could freeze them I think to keep them...

Sugar free sweets - how many syns per 100g?

The maximum it'll be is 1 syn for every 20 calories. Some foods are less if they have a 'free food' allowance, but sweets won't have any! LOL!

    Child abuse?

This is such an emotive subject. She's certainly not abused in any other way. What they are really guilty of is using food to over-compensate for them splitting up. Using food to show her how much they love her. Re-education is what's needed. I don't agree with the kids being taken into...

Syn free or low syn boognaise sauce???

We're quite addicted to various versions of Spag Bol and Chilli as you can eat so much without worrying! I always chop everthing up quite small too, so that the veg disappears into the sauce, especially as my OH is not so keen on some of what I put in! Onion, garlic, chilli flakes and fresh...
