A little confused about the brands of low fat spread that is used in sw baking/cake recipes. Most of the brands I`ve seen (Flora light etc), state on the back "NOT suitable for baking". What brands do SW & members recommend ?

Hi Everyone,
I have been using the cheaper minced beef in SW recipes , BUT I have drained the juices off and in addition, rinsed the partially cooked mince in boiling water in order to wash out the excess fat. Am I right in thinking that this is ok?
