Just made toffee and walknut muffin

You need a non stick sheet to make the crisps or I find that it doesn't work. Mix your soup into a thick paste, and then spread a teaspoon full thinly onto the sheet. Put in the microwave for about a minute, keep checking so it doesn't burn. If it is done, it will peel off the sheet, if not...

Just made toffee and walknut muffin

I can't live without the crisps, as my taste buds have gone bonkers and soups are now on the yuck list! I make mine into large poppadum type things, i can get 3 out of one pack. Sometimes i might only make two and then soup out of the rest of the pack. I find all of the tasty apart from the...

Thats brilliant, just want you need when willpower is slowly ebbing away! Hope you have ordered some lovely things - I'm just about to order some work clothes in a smaller size and hopefully they will give me the motivation I need! Theresa x

Losing all motivation and willpower :(

Hi Funella, why don't you do SS+ and have a 200 cal meal? That might be subconsciously what you are doing anyway, but at least if you know you are 'allowed' this, then you will weigh and measure and be all strict with it as it is part of your cambridge diet plan. Just a thought, at least you...

    SS+ losses- any results?

I'm on SS+ and I am having a bit of a blip at the moment with social arrangements, so I'm hoping that now I am back on it properly, I will have bigger weight losses. I couldn't have coped without being able to fit food in around my commitments, so I'm pleased with my losses so far. Good luck...

    I've lost 10 inches

No, you aren't!! I want to lose another stone on top of what my ticker says, so will have lost 6 stone in total. I am 5' 6" tall, and I think my BMI will be something around what your ticker says when I've lost the weight. Inch losses make all the difference to motivation! Theresa x

    Update on me…

Why do people think its Ok to comment on how you lose weight? Are they struggling with their weight? I really do think that people are jealous, but why do we forgive them for making totally inappropriate comments? If they were making racist comments, but then added on the end 'oh thats just...

    Nervous about weigh in today

What Height Are You And Whats Your Ideal Weight?

I'm 5' 6" and am aiming for 10 stone. Would like to be nearer the bottom of the healthy BMI, but will review this nearer the time. Damn p*ssed off with everyone saying "10 stone, there will be nothing left of you". Er, yes there will, stop trying to sabotage my best efforts, I want rid of...

That is amazing, congratulations! Theresa x

    What should I believe?

I always go by my own scales, as these are the ones I started off using. Plus, like everyone else has said, weighing in at night, fully clothed, is going to make a difference. I have even been known to weigh my clothes just to check ......... I would keep a note of what yours say, and check...

    dissapointed

Go and get weighed, at least you will know what the damage is (if any) and be able to do something about it, knowing what you have to face. The easiest way to fall off any diet is to cheat, and then not get weighed and promise yourself that you will do something about it before you weigh in...

Doctor who???? (No not the gorgeous David Tennant one!)

Russiandoll, you have hit the nail on the head. We have this discussion quite frequently at work (I work for the NHS!), even if it wasn't subsidised then a positive attitude towards it would go a long way. However, just think about the tax that the government earns from us buying excess food...

    LOSING THE WILL

Just try and carefully weigh everything for the next few days, and then I will allow you to get on the scales and check if it has made any difference!!!! :D Everyone's body loses at different rates, it's damn annoying but oh so true. And 8lb in 8 days is blimming fantastic! Ease the...

Not half as bad as i thought...phew!

    1st week weigh in

Well done, you have done excellent! 5.5lb in a week is a fantastic achievement, regardless of whether you 'cheated' or not. Good luck for a 100% week! Theresa x

    LOSING THE WILL

How much do you have to lose? Definiately stop weighing yourself every morning if it is starting to upset you. Sometimes our scales 'stick' for no obvious reason, and then it all drops off in one go! With regard to the vegetables, they do have a small amount of carbs in so any additional...

    Do you exercise?

I didn't do any before the diet, and they don't recommend any, so that suits me to a tee!!!! Lack of carbs supplying vital glycogen to the muscles is what is making you sluggish, so I recommend that you cut it down if you are doing a lot. If you are a hardened exerciser, you can do some but...

    Question

I'm the opposite, and have not suffered since day 1, where I used to be a 3-4 rennie's a day girl! How different we all are, and just as well really, it just wouldn't do for us all to be the same :D Theresa x

    Question

I thought it was only SS+ where you could have skimmed milk? I don't have my books on me so I can't check, but have a look as it should be in there. Good luck! Theresa x
