    Corn beef slices

Not sure about the deli sort, but I do know that the corned beef slices that M&S do, are 1 syn each. You can get them in packets of 4 or 8 I think and they're awesome! :)

Is this an ok way to use syns?

I'm with jaxmummy, I start at 105 and work backwards. My weigh in is on a Thursday and I pretty much always have 20 on a Friday/Saturday, just so I feel that I can still have the things I like - just a little more than usual :P I tend to stick to 10 syns a day Sunday to Wednesday! If you're...

Anyone a bit anxious about getting thin?

Not sure if this will make sense, but this is the best way I can get it out into words: What worries me - having not been slim since my late teens/early twenties (having a baby and having a partner who turned out to be a feeder) is that, by the time I hit target, I will be 29 years old and I'm...

Why did i do it :-(

Happy Birthday! Hope little one is alright. Don't beat yourself up over a bit of a treat, worth it or not. The reason we do SW is because NOTHING is off limits, so you had something slightly off plan, if we can't treat ourselves now and again, why on earth do we bother? Chin up :)

    rewards?

Might do something like that myself! Was only panicking yesterday about how i'll afford a new wardrobe once I hit target! Awesome!

    Treat nights?

Does anyone have a 'treat night' after weigh in? I know a few people that do, they'll head straight to the chippy after weigh in and some that don't, they just mosey on as usual, using their syns as they go. Are you one that saves up some syns to have a treat, or do you use your full syn...

    Syns

I'm not entirely sure how it all works, but I try to think of it this way. If I'm eating veg, salad and fruit for the majority of the day, then there is no real fat for my body to break down... That's where the syns come in, to give your body the calories/sugar and fat it needs to burn off :)...

Saying goodbye to the Red Wine

:) Weight Watchers Wines are also around 12 syns for a whole bottle, or 4 syns per small (1 glass) bottle. Not that bad if you don't want to get smashed...or if you do...have two - haha! :)

Saying goodbye to the Red Wine

Hey ladies Sorry to intrude, but there's a bottle of red (First Cape) that is 9 syns for the whole bottle, so if you still want to have a cheeky red, then you can. It's just lower in alcohol, say 10% or so.

Cheese! So sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Can I just ask if Pilgrims Choice Mature (lighter) is still ok for 42g as a HXA? I'm guessing at 30% less fat it's practically the same stuff? Tesco didn't have ANY Cathedral today so I just grabbed this as it was 2 for £4. Again, sorry if this is in the wrong place. I don't half panic about...

WWAAAYYYY Too Much Info but ...

You could ask your pharmacy if they have some Fibreclear. I'm guessing there won't be any syns in it as it's suitable for people on Lipotrim and such like :) Rooting for you! Never nice being bunged up! Briar x

So scared of changing to SW

Hiya I always find that green days keep me quite full and you don't need to worry about the superfree with green days (so i've been told) but I love fruit and veg so incorporate it anyway. As long as you read through the books and get your head around it you'll be absolutely fine! It's what the...

    Alcohol!!

You could always opt for a low alcohol wine? My CONS said that a whole bottle of normal red wine is around 30 syns whereas low alc wine (eg; weight watchers) is around 12 syns (for a whole bottle) ... you could have 2!!! :) I've also been told of a bottle of red called First Cape which is only...

    New beginnings

Variety is key! I'm guilty of eating the same things every day but I'm trying to change that now so that I don't get bored and just fall off plan. Drink plenty of water too! Good luck :)

WI this evening - what to eat now!

Thankfully my weigh ins are just after midday but I'd just eat normally. IF you've put anything on this week, it'll already be there - not eating anything won't really change what the scales are going to say...unless of course you have a Nandos haha :)

    Im a bad girl!

I'd be surprised if anyone kept to plan 100% this weekend so don't worry too much :) Easy enough to get back on it. I'm starting back on plan today after a shocking weekend and I'll be back to my group after a break on Thursday. Good luck for the rest of the week! Briar x

how did you decide on goal?

I've opted for 9 stone but might allow myself to go down to 8.5 depending on how i feel if and when I get there. I haven't been 9 stone since I was about 19 and I'd really really like to feel as good as I did then :)

    Hi - newbie! :)

I'm a greedy piggy unfortunately. I'm one of these that could sit down with a bag of maltesers for her syns, but end up having 2. I misused my syns big time and would end up going right over. I also struggle quite a bit to get more than 1.5l of water down me. These are both things that I plan...

    Hi - newbie! :)

Well, I say newbie. I'm new to using forums but I've been following slimming world for around 9 months now, with little success I have to admit. If I'm totally honest (always the best option) I've just finished 4 days of Lipotrim and it's made me ill. I've vowed never ever to do something as...
