    It will pass. Drink plenty water, as Cameron says. Take a painkiller for the headache. You are nearly there. VLCD are hard but the first few days are the worst. Once in ketosis you will feel great.

    Did you buy scales Charisma? If not I was going to suggest you use the ones you get in Tesco etc. I think they cost about 50p a go but you get a wee printout (I love "evidence"). I've had cheap scales and didn't think they were accurate but maybe that's just me or they have gotten better.

    Actually most slimming clubs (I think I've been to all my local ones :cry:) will tell you to expect to lose 1.5 - 2 lbs a week. CD is 3 -4 lbs a week BUT you need to look at it over more than a week as we don't all lose consistently. Congratulations on your losses.

    Well, I went to my GP who told me to put cotton wool under the nail which stopped it ingrowing. DH went to the chiropodist who stuck some kind of gold strip on the nail which (eventually) pulled the nail away from where it was ingrowing. Both worked. Mine was cheaper and quicker.

    Hi Emma, you will still lose weight on CD even if you are not in ketosis as you are having so few calories. The ketosis just makes most people (not everyone) feel a bit better - loads of energy, not hungry etc.

    No exercises will help loose skin, sorry. I think all we can do (I have bad ones too) is keep moisturising to help the skin stay elastic and it may well "catch up" with the rest of you. I have heard somewhere it can take a year for your skin to tighten up again.
