Brilliant thanks for this, she doesn't sleep without the sleeping bag as she consistently kicks off blankets all night and then whinges so I'll stick with sleep suit and sleeping bag until I can get a lesser tog sleeping bag! X

I left her in the long sleeved vest and 2.5tog bag, I moved the thermometer into her cot and stayed between 20-22 degrees I checked her every hour and she never felt cold or clammy, god this is so hard isn't it! X

Thanks ladies, I think I'll stick with a vest a long sleeved tshirt and the duvet and if it gets any warmer I'll ditch the vest x

Boxes of 98 in aldi for £7.29 at the minute, I have used aldi, boots and pampers, boots seem small, but I've had no problems with either pampers or Aldis nappies no leaks etc, I like Frances change before every feed and then whenever she needs it, I use around 42 nappies a week

I had 2 bags and a changing bag lol but then I was going in for a section, For baby I had 7 sleep suits, 7 vests, 4 pairs scratch mittens, 7 bibs, pack of nappies, cotton wool balls, hats, cardigan and 2 blankets! And I think that was it, they must have though I was moving in lol xx

I'm in at 7.30 with 2 other ladies, my sister said from what she remembers of her 2 elective section it was 8.30, 10.30, and 12.30, providing everything goes to plan and there aren't too many emergencies to contend with, but I should definitely have my little girl by 1pm :D

Give me around 72 hours ;) although my birth story will be relatively short providing everything goes perfectly! X

I didn't feel my baby until 24 weeks however I did have an anterior placenta so it takes a bit longer, however before that I did feel little butterfly flutters above my bikini line that I think was baby :) My friend was feeling movement from around 16 weeks with first baby :) xx

Hi Kelly xx try not to worry, I've had bleeds throughout this pregnancy all for unknown reasons, I had a scan at 6+2 and was told not to worry if they didn't see a HB as it was early days but there it was strong and fast on the screen, I really hope all is well and this is just the start of baby...

I packed mine at 31 weeks but only because I'd been in hospital the week before and trying to get hubby to bring me the right things was a nightmare! We have been bought about 4 grobags but I've never come across anyone that's used them either

My midwife said today that the doctors would still allow me to go the normal time overdue even if baby was measuring big, if that's the case what's the point in growth scans? She said they didn't really listen to them anyway :-/

Jess, my sister had acupuncture to try and bring on the labour of her 3rd baby (she was having a csec forced upon her after having shoulder dystopia with baby 1 and a csec with baby 2) it didn't work for her but she came out feeling much more relaxed :)

I was first measured at 25 weeks then again this week at 28 weeks, 25 weeks I was measuring bang on, at 28 weeks I'm measuring at 31 eek!!

I won't have enough time because my waters are going too break, I'm going to sneeze and lady will just pop out all in around 30 minutes (I'm clearly still in denial as well lol) ;)

I've got the 19th march in my head for some reason which would be 37.5 weeks however ill probably go at 42 weeks lol x

I want to go to AN classes but only because other than a quick cuddle off my godson and my 3 nieces, I have no experience whatsoever and neither does hubby, I know once they get to walking stage im ok, but newborn stage im bricking it, ours are done over 3/4 sessions so it doesnt seem like so...

When I mentioned going to stay at my mums for a week, he said oh would you?? lol Tell him if he wants the bed to himself he will have to put you in a hotel for a few days ;)

lol because I work nights hubby is used to having the bed to himself, so said to me last night, what ive got to share a bed with you every night? ahh no youll have to sleep on the sofa a few nights :eek: charming im incubating his child and hes sending me away lol

I do like it just being me and her but I just cant wait to meet her, plus im not coping as well as I thought I would with pregnancy im constantly on edge and im so nervous, I just figure once she is here im sure ill still worry probably more, but i will be able to see that she is ok, I can see...

Very weird! Again though it's kind of nice feeling, let's me know she's there! I'm doing ok, just wishing the next 12 weeks away! X

Evening ladies bumps and babies :) I'm at 27 weeks and every time I sit forward or bend I feel like I'm being winded and the whole area seems like it stretches 3 inches above belly button, is that where the top of my uterus is now? How's everyone else doing? X

My sister was like you with all 3 of her girls, she had a list of 10 or so names she liked but didn't love, and said the minute they were born she exactly which name suited them best :)

Ours has been picked out for about 10 weeks, I just hope the name suits her when she comes out lol

March is going to be a long month for me there's no babies due!

Lol it's not ending anytime soon then?! I know eeeeek!! Maybe that's why these holy crap moments are coming more regularly?! I've seen hubby look at me a few times and go oh sh!t as well lol I've had that as well!! Especially for the first 20 weeks, I was like nah it's not real lol

Brill thanks Cai! Out of curiosity all the apps say you use between 10 and 12 nappies a day, is that an over estimation or about right? I want to try and make sure I've got at least fortnights worth when she comes.. It's all suddenly feeling very very real!!

I was planning on getting the pampers new baby sensitive so I think Like you I'll get 2 boxes and 1 box next size up, then maybe I'll be some gift vouchers for boots so at least I'm keeping money aside for them! I use baby wipes for taking off make up so if she doesn't take to the asda ones...

Question regarding nappies, there are loads brands and loads of sizes, I wanted to start buying them this week so I have a good stock ready, what brand is best and how many of each size do you think? I'm all confused (doesn't take much though lol) And wipes, I've been buying the asda little...

I have no idea what position she's in now midwife said she side to side on Monday but I think she may have moved around since then, I have had the little tickles as well very bizarre at first lol I'll count them all as movements then I don't get many so every ones counts :D

It's more of an uncomfortable feeling every now and again it'll make me wince but it's not so bad to make me worry, I think the pain above my belly button, and I might be wrong is roughly where the top of my uterus is and it's when I bend over so I'm guessing it's my body telling me to bend...
