    Thanks for all your suggestions guys, I do doctor them up with chilli and herbs already and I know this is a cheaper vlcd than others...I already use Tesco bars and think they are great but I will soldier on with the soups in the name of weighing less and being healthier!!

    :)Thanks for that I'll check it out - I find the bars tast very proteiny and I prefer savoury to sweet when I'm doing vlcd (and I think I've had my 'meal' if I've had something hot as well.)

    Hi Kooky, I mostly just have soups and bars and am finding it ok - sometimes the bars taste so 'proteiny' (like a health food shop smells!) so I bought some measure up from Asda and the strawberry yoghurt ones are lovely, and Tesco chocolate crunch bars are just like chocolate krispie cakes...

    I drink loads of coffee (with skimmed milk) and that fills me up and I have small bottles of water so it's easier to cope with. I tried tesco flavoured water but found it really sweet.

    I think you need to do it now and again (eat real food that is!) and well done for keeping to low carb food for your blow out. I regularly have wafer thin ham when I'm doing vlcd's and it's sometimes just enough to put your craving for 'real' food to bed and let you get back on with your diet...

    I love the veg soup - especially the BITS!!!! Gives my teeth something to do as they are feeling quite redundant over the past 2 weeks!! You do have to leave the soup for a good 5 minutes for the bits to soften (like with a Pot Noodle) and I would recommend a hand blender even though it does...

    Hi Pizzle, I had a costa latte today too and I did see it being made with fresh skimmed milk (and I added sweetner) and they are very creamy and quite 'heavy' when you aren't eating normally. I use skimmed milk all the time but I think this amount all at once is just overload. xx

    Yeah, the constipation thing is a nightmare on vlcd isn't it? I really have to force myself (and remember) to drink plenty of water cos that makes such a difference, but when you stop 'eating' sometimes the last thing you want is cold water :(
