    Secret veg sauce. Can of cops toms garlic clove 6 / 7 other veg, whatever you have or takes you fancy. Cook up until soft. Add fresh basil Add serving of parmasan or mozerella Season and Blitz to you liking

    Why not try and make a secret veg sauce. It doesn't even taste like veg when done and can be used with pasta, stews , mince and a load more. Cook up a can of toms, celery, courgettes, peppers, garlic, sweetcorn, sweet potato or butternut, carrots. (Basically any veg you can lay your hand on)...

    :-D No, not at all!!! Eggs go with just about anything in my mind. I always do poached haddock and poached eggs on toast. I just pop the eggs in after the haddock and they're perfect. I always thought it was coz the water was simmering but not boiling and was salty.

    Yum, that sounds nice. You could also mix in a little sweetner and frozen berries and then freeze it like icecream.

    You have to use a really hot pan in order to seal it quickly to keep the moisture in. I use a griddle pan and heat it up til it is smoking slightly. If the steaks are really thin then a couple of mins each side should do the trick.

    Meat balls and spaghetti with homemade sauce. Can chopped toms, small can sweetcorn, carrots, celery, peppers, onion cooked together with dash of balsamic vinegar and crushed garlic. Blitz and add a couple of servings of parmesan cheese. (served 4 people). Slurp, that was yummy.

    Mmmm, I made a batch tonight. Very tasty. Not as crisp as I would like them on the outside, but really yummy and soft inside. Will try make a nice coating for them next time. Perhaps try crispy dry spray for a few syns.

    Never tried them. Do you use Fry light sunflower or crispy dry spray? I just imagine them being soggy and unappitising... How long in the oven and at what temp do you do them? You can tell that I feel like chips. Preferably with vinegar and some chilli salt. :-D

    Hi Spanx, thanks for all the encouragement!! Just keep at it you may find that you've plateaued, but it will start coming off again. I am in the UK, but grew up with kgs rather than lbs as I am South African. It is the one thing that just won't stick. I do miles but not lbs. Weird!!

    Why don't you try a healthier alternative way of getting your pineapple fix? Try it in a pasta salad with ham and a grating of cheese. Or when I lived in South Africa a favourite was home made bread with ham and thinly sliced pineapple on. Yum!!!
