    devestated

At our practice I can gain 7kg by how I stand on the analogue scales so watch how you're standing next time. I weigh heavier if I'm standing near the back so I can also read the dial I presume you're wearing the same clothes each time. Good luck, it'll be good that she has measurements too.

I've not been on the boards recently Lexie so don't know what's been suggested to be a problem. Your posts in the past have been supportive and in the nature of the forum's friendly atmosphere. Determined this time !!!

Welcome. If you follow the rules no more than 5g/100g fat in any food and no more than 15g fat per meal (45g per day) you should 't have a visit from Mr tango. Although everyone is different in what they can eat with or without a problem. Good luck and keep posting.

    Alli Weight Loss Diet Book

It would be interesting to know if the tablet instructions were different. The figures I gave are from their website which are similar to those I recall in the book. The book has good recipes I just tend to lurk nearer the lower end of the fat allowances.

    Alli Weight Loss Diet Book

Yes they recommend calories & fat based on your weight rather than flat figures of 45g/day. So for me the fat is 60g/day made from 19g/meal & 3g for a snack when I get to goal it would drop to 53g/day which is still more than on Xen. I know you don't have to eat your full allowance of fat...

I bought this last summer and have looked at it a few times BUT be aware the recipes are for Alli users not Xen so the fat content is too high for us in a number of recipes. It's good when you want something specialespecially if you have visitors and at £2.99 a bargain, mine was from Amazon.

    What scales di you have

Because I use the wii on soft carpet the scales aren't always reliable. You've reminded me I must go on the wii again and it would be worth using the scales as I won't have weighed in since pre Xen so that will be a nice downwards line.
  73. 7

What time of the day do you weigh yourself?

At home first thing in the morning after going to the loo and try to stick to a Monday but if I'm at the OH's it slips to a Tuesday. Dr WI is always in the afternoon as they don't do morning appointments - the main thing for me is consistency so as long as Dr WI is always pm I don't mind.

    Booster

I also have Maximuscle protein shakes - 1 a day, I've found my weight loss is better on the weeks I've had them than the weeks I don't (they're not cheap and I can't always get them). I mainly started as according to MFP my protein intake was really low.

    Seeing doc Monday any tips?

Mine was the same I had to prove I was committed by losing on my own before they'd prescribe. You don't tell us what you weigh now to know how overweight you are, that will be one of the biggest things in the GP deciding whether or not to prescribe you Xenical.

Perhaps you need to eat more for your our body to let you lose weight. I can't remember the magic figure but I think you need over 1200 calories a day anyway, it might be worth trying 1300 calories and seeing how that goes, have some extra fruit or a yoghurt. I know this sounds silly but it...
