    Week 1 Weigh In

Well first week over with(on CS) and I stepped on to the scales this morning. Wasn't expecting too due to have lost 9.5 pounds the previous week on my major detox (we all know first week of dieting in getting rid of excess water). So was pleasantly surpirsed to see a 6 pounds loss since last...

I sorted all my boxes out today, took me ages! Got a full carrier bag of the beef and also roasted pepper soups which i'm keeping as an emergency stash as the shakes are so much better!

    Have started :)

Unlucky Ailly, I'm glad I got stocked up last week @ the £7.50 for the started pack, my house is overflowing with them. Cost me £150 to do it, but i've got meals for the next 25 weeks due to the free soups!

    Bad day

I made it for my missus for lunch yesterday (i wasn't in the mood for it and wanted a shake!). She loved it. For the base i mixed up tomato puree, garlic puree, salt, pepper a little bit of tabasco, and the smallest drop of olive oil. Spread this on the mushroom, then spread a think layer of...

    weigh in

Today was day 1, not sure if its for me due to my bad ankle, abit too much jumping for my liking. I'm putting a punch bag back up in the garage, I felt that gave me a knackering workout the last time I lost alot of weight. If you're not sweating after 5 mins on the bag you are doing it wrong. I...

    weigh in

I'm getting on great.. my first CS weigh in is on Friday so really lookinh forward to seeing what I weigh! Holiday has been good so far, did the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred this morning and am about to take the dog out for a 5 mile walk! Just stick in with the water, I must be a lucky one as...

    weigh in

How much are you looking to increase your intake by? If it's "only" about 150 to 200 hundred look at maybe having a chicken or turkey breast to snack on during the day? This will give you a good amount of protein but also keep the fat content low (more so in turkey, but it has slightly less...

    Have started :)

The beef soups are a strange thing, they taste beefy, but for some reason look like chicken flavoured Cuppa Soups! Very weird sensation of eating something which looks like on thing and tastes like another!

    weigh in

Are you eating large enough meals for your evening meal? If you are not getting enough food and water into your system when exercising your body will go into a "starvation" mode and just hold onto any fat etc. Maybe try increasing your evening meal slightly, or as you said, drink some more...

    Bad day

I also got some big mushrooms at Tesco to make a "pizza", going to have it for dinner tonight (Monday)

    Day 1 of CS

Hi all, Still 100% on track, not even had a bad thought enter my head, no cravings at all. Went to Tesco tonight and got all my meat, veg and fruit for the week and wasn't bothered about the offers on pizzas etc. Was more excited about the 3 for £2.50 on stir fry veg! Had a lovely spicy...

    Have started :)

I've started putting a bit of crushed ice into my shaker before i mix the shake up, they are SO much nicer when ice cold, like a proper milkshake!

    Have started :)

If you feel you need a snack during the night, try water first, hunger feelings are usually your body wanting water! If that doesn't work, skip the cheese and go for a lean protein such as turkey. Or if you want more protein go for chicken, turkey has less calories and fat, but chicken is higher...

    Day 1 of CS

Hi Ali, The water is not an issues for me, i've always drank loads and love the fact i get to eat 6 times a day! Before hand I wouldn't eat breakfast, have a Subway/McDonalds/KFC for lunch (they are all 2 min from my work :( ) and a bag of crisps or 2! I would then get home and have a sandwich...

    Bad day

Well done for resisting! If you are anything like me, you'd have eaten the Chinese and then been hungry a few hours later once the rice wore off! The omlette would have been a nice wee treat, cost pennies to make and kept you right on track! I'm avoiding night outs for a fews weeks until I can...

    Day 1 of CS

I think a positive attitude towards CS and weightloss is just as important as the diet itself. Got myself a bike and joined the gym so am going to get back into that, I used to love the gym and lifting weights ,it may slow down the weight loss figures but I will be measuring myself and working...

    Day 1 of CS

Well 2nd shake into day 2 and i'm feeling good, managing 3L+ of water a day with no issues (i always drank alot of water so thought i should up it from my usual 2L until my body gets used to the shakes). Not feeling hungry and the shakes are really nice. Looking forward to the next few months...

    Day 1 of CS

Thanks, I've tried a few diets over the last year but have given up due to the taste and lack of "proper" food in them (cabbage soup diet anyone?.. the smell makes me want be sick now!). I'll tell you one thing... i won't go short of CS Shaker cups, i've got 22 of them now haha. Good luck with...

    Day 1 of CS

Hi there, I'm Jay and am on day 1 of the CS Plan. I had been looking into the Cambridge Diet but the cost really put me off, I noticed that the Mens 7 day starter packs were down to £7.50 on the Rowlands Pharmacy website so I HAD to get some (actually ordered 22 boxes, which works out at 25...
