    Last night I was brilliant!

Bless you. x Sadly I fell off the wagon big style yesterday and had a (very small) carvery for dinner after feeling sick and lightheaded for one day too many (I'm pretty sure it was low blood sugar). I was reasonably good and stuck to meat and veg and gravy though but then blew it with a...

    Last night I was brilliant!

Oooh actually I drank about a pint of water after the carnival, I was sooooo thirsty! Maybe thats it, lol! I have upped my protein intake, ate about twice as much yesterday as I have been doing... Also swapped my ww yogurts for Total 0%... It seems the harder I try the less I lose, and now...

    Last night I was brilliant!

I was on duty at a carnival as a first aider and afterwards the carnival committee put on a big spread for us all. I ate: 1 cherry tomato and half a pickled onion and drank water!!!! All the lovely things I love to eat were there and I refused them all even though everybody else was...

I don't make mine but flavoured some 0% greek yoghurt with vanilla extract and splenda last night and it was gorgeous!

    Cruise PP A tad disappointed

Update: I haven't changed a thing (except ate a bit of extra yoghurt last night) and scales say I have lost a lb this morning (a full lb not a few ounces) so I am pleased that I persevered. I have to admit to feeling very miserable though for a few days. Thank you for your help and support. x

    Cruise PP A tad disappointed

Hi and thank you for your replies. My answers to your questions: TOTM? - not a problem, too old (bliss) enough protein? - possibly not to be honest, I will review this thank you. I have no appetite and finding it very difficult to eat lots. I looked at the menus as Maintainer suggested but...

    Cruise PP A tad disappointed

After a truly amazing start I have lost only 1lb since I've been on Cruise (6 days now). I have stopped eating the pre packed meat and cut ww yoghurts down to 2 a day. I'm cooking but only with allowed ingredients and drinking loads of water, coffee etc. The scales tell me a difference of...

Onceinabluemoon - I *will* succeed this time!

Thank you. We are having a new Tesco store being built in our town (amidst lots of controversy, lol) and it will be open before Christmas so I will be able to shop there for goodies. At the moment we only have co op and their choice is appalling at best, non existent at worst...

Onceinabluemoon - I *will* succeed this time!

So... day 1 of cruise. I didn't lose any weight yesterday but that was sort of expected as the scales and one thing before my bath and another thing after - I don't think I was *that* dirty, lol! I'm off to the shops in a moment to buy some fresh veg, after just eating a yummy Dukan pancake...

Attack I dont want to eat! No appetite at all :(

that's good news :) I have a pack of chocolate buttons in my bag and I am amazed at my self control in not even wanting them. This is the first diet I have ever been on that has allowed me that. It kind of makes me realise its the last diet I will ever be on.

Cruise PV back to work tomorrow

How about shopping online? I work with very young children (who seem to eat all the blooming time, lol!) from 6.30 am to 6pm so get very little time to shop or do normal things. Online shopping has saved my time.

Right what shall I do about my holiday?

Lots of fab ideas already, do your best to stick to it, lots of exercise and water and rejoice in the fact that you look fab with a 2.5 stone weight loss already and will look even better soon. :) Have a great holiday.

    Cant get back into it.

There is a motivation thread in the stickies, maybe that will give you some ideas? Mine is simple - I don't want to die (and my weight is affecting my asthma, my blood pressure and my ability to exercise)

Cruise PV back to work tomorrow

I went back to work last Thursday and found that it made life easier if I cooked a little extra meat/fish for the evening meal and then had it as cold cuts for the next day lunch (if you're on cruise you could add salad maybe? Some people have talked about making the Galettes into wraps with...

Onceinabluemoon - I *will* succeed this time!

That's a good idea. :) I don't like burgers so don't eat them, I suppose it may be different if it was all meat/onion a few herbs or whatever. Maybe one day I will try. What is rusk please? (I presume something disgusting)

Attack I dont want to eat! No appetite at all :(

Thank you, that does help. I was beginning to get a little concerned when reading how everybody else is craving this or that and I could go the whole day without eating anything, good to hear it will probably soon pass. (No doubt I will wish it was back once I"m starving all the time) Thank...

    Starting to Cruise!

Men! I don't think a lot of them know what tact is (there are always exceptions to the rule though). My ds bought a massive bar of cadbury chocolate yesterday and sat and chomped through the whole thing in front of me! Luckily I have this bizarre thing where I just want to eat anything so...

Whilst I realise this is probably a good thing it is very hard to cram meat in my mouth and swallow when I have no appetite at all. Today is my last day on attack today and I'm not even looking forward to veggies tomorrow. I am making myself eat as I know I have to but am getting no...

Onceinabluemoon - I *will* succeed this time!

I just double checked the book and it says "frozen beef burgers are allowed but make sure the fat content does not exceed ten percent - 15 per cent is too rich for the attack phase" I presumed this meant mince at 10% too, but I will look out for 5% fat in future thank you. :) Ok thanks, I...

Tv show This morning debate - new idea about doctors calling 'fat' instead of obese.

I don't like the term obese but it is that which has spurred me on, simply being called fat to me means nothing. "Fat cow" was the standard nasty name thing at school and I was size 10 then so now size 22 its water off a ducks back. Obese on the other hand makes me worry... BUT if the doc...

I've decided to quit Dukan - need advice

If it's just the going out that bothers you, could you still go out but stick to diet coke or bottled water? That way you'd be getting the social effect you are missing but not piling on the pounds through alcohol. I'm a newbie to all this so maybe that isn't feasible but you've done so well...

I wondered about this too, in the book it says you can drink diet coke or coke zero, would that help? (I'm new to this so if I have misunderstood the book please somebody come and correct me). I wondered if we could drink ribena really light as that has less than 10 cals per glass if I...
