    Yeah true, I low carbed all last year and just stayed the same weight. Didn't think I could face a VLCD again after Lipotrim in 2008. Now I wish I had discovered Slim and Save, Lipotrim seems terrible in comparison to S&S :)

    Yay me! Thanks! :-D last week I was a bit pissed with 2.5lb , but being the veteran dieter I am, I knew it would be made up and averaged out somewhere along the line. I seem to get the dreaded week three in week two!

    WTF why would they put sugar in vitamins :-s I suppose it's on the outer shell part but still....! I personally don't take any and I vary between 3 and 4 packs. I buy them and then just forget to take them :-[ so I've given up now :-o

    I drink Coke Zero but only after I've had at least 2l of water that day so far. It is my 'reward' :rolleyes:. Asdas own cherry diet coke is okay too - quite nice, definitely nicer than Diet Coke Cherry but not as nice as Pepsi Max Cherry - now that is nice! :sigh:

    Porridge- How do you make it ?

    :8855: I tend to just guess with mine. I don't have skimmed milk in the house as my lads only have blue milk so I water that down slosh it in a bowl and sling it in the microwave and keep stopping it to stir it up, probably for 1.30 or 2 minutes altogether.

    I wonder too about this citric acid business. I read somewhere that it should be avoided whilst getting into ketosis and once you're in then it's ok. I wonder about people who are on add a meal week, Atkins, Pig to Twig etc who are eating all sorts of food, you never hear of them avoiding it? :S

    Me! I never have the death breath after the first day or so, not sure why?! Maybe if I have a lie in I.e more sleep than normal (very rare event!) I might but as a rule I don't.

    Considering the shakes

    I've been on Exante before and really liked the shakes, never tried a bar. The slim and save shakes I've tried are more or less the same as Exante, if anything the Exante ones are more watery. The bars and the famous spaghetti bol are delicious!

    I should think so. I spent the past two years low carbing and staying in ketosis whilst eating all sorts of stuff :-/ Fish is nil/very low carbs and salad is probably okay unless loads of grated carrot, peppers, sweetcorn etc.

    I have also read that about fat cells, they fill up with water and then when they realise the fats not comic back it whooshes out - that's the highly technical scientific explanation ya know ;-) Plus apparently, the reason that so many dieters fail or regain weight is due those cells...
