    I wouldn't worry Wendy, a pound is nothing, it proberly is water retention. I can put on up to 3lbs and i stay like that for up to 2 weeks!! :eek: and it's so depressing. But when it's that time I've got to remember not to take too much notice. so really only 2 weeks out of the month are true...

    I'm finding it a little more expensive, we don't eat value cuts of meat etc so it's bound to cost more. So really it's up to you whether you buy cheaper cuts of meat or splash out and have slightly better cuts.

    I'm the same at the mo. My side salads are really boring now, I've cut out the toms too, I also used to love grated raw carrot but can't have that now. So it's just lots of different mixed leaves, red and yellow peppers. I used to have beetroot a lot, I wonder if that's high in carbs...

    I'm down to 198.6. so that's about 1.5 pounds. I did actually go up 1.3 pounds earlier this week. This is great somethings working for me at last! :D But I got caught out by the fizzy pop and sugar free items (have banished them to the bin now!)

    Yes stick with it. I did really well last week but that may have been water loss and this week I'm finding it harder cos I'm relying on too much sugar free things. It's going to take time to ajust to this diet, it's quite radical, no bread, flour etc :eek: but i recon it's gonna work for me...

    Thanks Elemental, what particular Mims recipe do u use (i know theres a few out there), cos i tried it once and they were bitty and not nice, perhaps i need to try again. Yeh I'm doing the jelly at the mo (sugar free made with some fizzy pop), it's nice with the smallest drizzle of cream. :17729:

    I make sugar free jelly with no sugar fizzy pop. Also i bought some mints and butterscotch sweets from Aldi. They are 0.4 carbs per 100g, and the packet is 44g. And there is sucralose in them not aspartame. There is quite a few in the packet and i only have 5 today.

    I go to a 24hr gym in Milton Keynes. I go 3 times a week, 40 mins of cardio and half hour or more of weights. I started by only being able to lift a 10kg barbell (bicep curls) now I lift 20kg. Which is what some of the men who are new starters are lifting :D I also work my triceps...

    I made some oopsie rolls today for the first time, and squished them flatter to make a pancake. They defiantly need flavouring, there was a faint eggyness, but i added splenda which was ok. Perhaps I could find something stronger and sweeter.
