    Thanks moonlights, I was worried about "hidden" carbs or ones I can't count and track on mfp, you know like sauces and things. Will try to stick with plain grilled protein with veg then I can't possibly do any damage. Just need to watch the alcohol :-( really appreciate the advice.

    Luscious Losers Meeting 27/01/12

    Sorry I'm late !!! Was out last night. 1lb loss for me this week but after last weeks gain I'm only back to square one :-( really need to control my snacking in the evening so that's my challenge this week and to keep up with the water drinking. Well done to all of you.

    How to drink more fluids?

    I was exactly the same, hated water and felt like I was drowning when I had to drink it alone. Funny how quickly I could get through 750 mls of wine tho!!! I now fill a 2 litre bottle every morning with water and aim to get through it each day, you will be surprised how you get into a routine...

    Luscious Losers Meeting 20/01/12

    1lb on for me this week :-( not surprised tho, had a very heavy weekend which lasted until Tuesday as it was the hubbys 40th. My challenge was to drink 3 litres of water a day and have found this quite easy this week. Trying to stay on track this weekend then should see a good loss next week...

    Online Weigh In Meeting - The First of 2012! :D

    Morning all sorry I'm late on posting, starting weight this week 139 lbs WI at 136 lbs so 3lb loss for me this week :-) trying to drink 3 litres of water a day and have managed all this week to do so. I struggle at weekend though with snacking so that is my challenge this week x well done everyone

    Wow, Caroline thank you so much for the info, very interesting. It's no wonder I felt so sluggish on so little water. I have filled two, one litre bottles full of water, which I intend to drink before bed everyday, see how I go.

    Thanks Cherry Pie, I know I drank far too little before but haven't noticed any difference since, so wasn't sure I was still drinking enough. I suppose the exercise running upstairs more often to the toilet helps if nothing else !!!!

    Could you be gaining muscle weight with the exercise? Don't know if it's a myth but I was always told muscle weighs more than fat ? It could be that your toning when burning cals with your workouts

    I have to agree, I used to try to eat as little as possible during the week to compensate for the take aways/dining out/wine at the weekend, everything I lost during the week went straight back on at the weekend plus more.

    Your right there iwillsoonbeslim, I tend not to crave snacks if I'm not at home. It's only when I'm at home and know the goodies are in that they shout me. I exercise three times a week but don't usually add my cals earned into MFP. Perhaps I should do this then can use the calories burned...

    I agree "alcohol is evil" and yeah it is normally savoury snacks I crave. I really try to save cals if I know I'm going to have a glass or two, which probably makes it worse as I'm then more hungry and will eat anything in sight. Gonna try the dark chocolate idea though and French fries this...
