Farmfoods is definitely the place! £1 for 750g, pre sliced and frozen. In the microwave for 4/7 minutes! Lush.

A quick question on portion sizes.

Yup, scoff away! I had the opposite problem when I started - I was eating the same amount of protein that I would have done in a normal portion with veg carbs etc before Dukan! Took me a few weeks to realise why I was really weak before meal times!! Hahaha. So eat eat eat (the right things)...

    Cruise PP Remarkable

I was just wondering whether you were doing an attack style string of pp days or going straight back to cruise? I'm regained sense and control today, with a pp day, but was unsure how best to proceed? Congrats on your fabbo losses ladies, that's really spurred me on! As I managed to wipe out a...

    Off Dukan

I'm in the same boat! I'm enjoying eating the food (oops, feel a bit guilty, esp as I KNOW I have binged on anything sweet or carbohydratey), but have have mood swings and stomach pains (sigh, all my fault, lol). Plus have put on 5 lbs . . . sigh. Roll on the new year and another few pp days!

    This time last year...

I was in a rubbish relationship and nearly 3 stone overweight. Now I'm wonderfully single within 10lbs of my goal happier, bags of energy, living in a great house doing a job I want. LIFE IS GOOD. We've all done so well!!!

    Work lunch - chinese

Thanks for all of your advice! The meal was yesterday, and it wasn't too bad. I had chicken with mange tout, stir fry vegetables, some chicken satay with no sauce and lots of Chinese tea - it was so salty. Lots of water and the gym today. So glad it went well, even though I was sitting next...

    Xmas wont stop us!

100% Cocoa Chocolate from Hotel Chocolat. No added sugar or milk. Just cocoa in a chocolate bar! Amazing stuff! No need for roses/quality street with a smidgen of this! Ok, so its not the fat reduced coca that Dr. D prescribes, but its jolly nice as a treat!! I'm having a day off on christmas...

    Cruise PV low fat/sugar cocoa!!?

Bournville seems to be the "nicest" nutritionally wise commercially available, I think?

    Do repetitive menus matter

Yeah, I have a sort of ten day is rotation of meals, although I don't always have the same lunch/with the same dinner/ on the same day. However, I do always have my oat bran as porridge in the morning!

Vegetable portions on Cruise please advise

7 lbs is really good! Well done to you! I tend to have two meals with around a 1:1 ratio of protein to veg. I do sometimes find my self eating two days of veg every other day, which is not quite intended and weight loss isn't optimised in the same way if you were eating a 1:3 veg to meat...

    Cruise PV Dukan pig-out!

This happens to me too! If I make a family style big dish for freezing, I tend to eat lots of it! A Shepard's pie sounds nice! Did you use celariac or cauliflower for the "mash"? Or in fact neither? I've got a pack of mince defrosting now . .

    weigh in ???

I weigh on the day that I started dukanning, but like super tonic, I check everyday, and put it into a big excel spread sheet, I like seeing the downward groove!

    Cruise PV Determination

Hear Hear!! I think as I will be staying with relatives for most of the holidays, I'm going to have to switch to a sort of consolidation type diet as not to put anybody out/have to listen to how "bad" the dukan diet diets. Then sort of have a mini attack afterwards, the continue onwards and...

    Dukan Diet Cruise

That sounds like great fun! Although I would be doing some v. hard dukanning to look good in my swimming cossie before the cruise, hahaha!

    Failed:(

Thats the spirit, the lapse is a mere blip, weight loss is a marathon not a sprint, and you are not a failure, think positive and think about your excellent loss so far. If any consolation, I stuffed a portion of a very fruit laden christmas pudding with a few desert spoons of condensed milk...

    How fast are you loosing?

Hi there! Ive been dukanning for 9 weeks, and have lost 25 lbs. Its been a bit start stop for the last three or four weeks - or rather stay the same loose two lbs stay the same. My activity levels have been constant and so on. I think maybe I'm not eating regularly enough, but other than that...

How much did your meals cost today?

I spend about £30-40 on my own food, but live on my own, so there are no economies of scale or anything on meat etc. Food yesterday cost £7.94, but I did have beef and salmon. I'm happy that I dont have to fork out weekly meeting fees, so don't mind the slight increase in cost, although with...

    Work lunch - chinese

Thanks ladies - I've had a look at the menu and its not too bad, its an all you can eat a la carte - so I can just order what I like which is good! I'm a lot happier now. There are some good options such as stir fry mix veg - and chicken with veg. It might be a bit oily, and a few hidden...

    Work lunch - chinese

So, for our Christmas lunch my research group has decided to go to a Chinese buffet. (How that relates to Christmas, I don't know) My academic supervisor is organising, with the postgrads and other project students also going. I'm actually really worried: 1) because buffets are a social...

    Diet Fizzy drinks

I think they are great around 4pm/9pm when on the prowl for something nice. I have the diet, caffeine free ones. Ginger beer is also nice for a different taste! What is the opinion on sugar free squash? Does anybody use it? I haven't checked any labels, but just wondering?
  26. hippybagsue

One negative thing about the diet

YES! I'm kinda glad its not just me (in the nicest way :) ) Even if I go before bed, I still have to get up between midnight and three (I do go to bed ridiculously early, around 9-10) and then first thing when I wake up! I've been on cruise for seven weeks now, I thought my body would have...

    Sugar free Jelly

Hi all, I was hoping for some clarification on the tolerated 3 sugar free jellies - does this mean three of the little sugar free jelly pots? I can quite easily go through a pint of the made up crystals in a day, although not every day! They have been such a life saver! Apologies if...
