    I have to measure pasta and rice otherwise I would make enough for the whole street (and eat it!). I do 100g as a pasta portion and 75g for rice.

    We are having tandoori prawns with a mint dip to start then herby rack of lamb with potato rostis and veg. Dessert is berrymisu (a fruit version of tiramisu). It's the half bottle of champagne which is going to rack up the syns. Ah well we don't go all out often.

    I want to stop using the majority of my syns on chocolate and start using them on things for meals like tortillas, avocado, sauces etc. Sometimes I find myself eating chocolate for the sake of it to use up syns!

    I am heavily debating giving up cheese. I eat too much of it and I think I am intolerant to it as well as I get really bloated after I eat it. I am unsure if it will include cheese flavoured things like wotsits or leek, ham and cheese flavour pasta and sauce. Hmmm :confused:

    I think losing slowly means you will keep it off. I don't know why everybody is in such a rush, SW isn't a quick fix it's a plan you can follow for life. It took time to get to the weight you are now and it will take time to get it off! :)
