    Here I am again!!

Hi All I left here back in March as I had achieved my goal weight. I was trying to lose weight as I needed an operation to repair a large hernia. When I left I was down to my goal weight of 16st - Since March I have put on a staggering 3st 12lbs!. However I decided to do something about it so...

Firstly sorry it's taken so long to reply - I didn't see your post. Secondly - as it says on my stats I started in July last year and have actually now stopped since last Saturday so approx 7 1/2 months and a total loss of 13 stone. I am now doing yhr re feed and will then go on to a calorie...

2nd Week - anyone had this problem?

I weigh every day at home and note my naked weight in a book - When I weigh at the pharmacy ( actually I use the boots machine down the road as the pharmacy hadn't got one that could weigh me!) I always try to wear the same clothes and keep all the same things in my pockets ( I am a bloke!) so...

    started today

It will go away - the trick is to keep yourself occupied so that you don't think about food or your diet. Easy to say I know but that is the best way. Make your soups/shakes part of a routine and take them at approx the same time so that you don't expect food etc all the time. Good luck!

Has anyone missed a shake and noticed the weight slow up?

Again my point is that we are not medically qualified and of course neither is the lady in the chemist - she may well be trained but that is not the same. I agree that you should follow the diet as written andnot vary it to get the best result. But again I will say that less calories means less...

Has anyone missed a shake and noticed the weight slow up?

Missing a shake will not slow down your weight loss - How can it? If you take in less calories then you should in theory lose even faster. If you are in ketosis already then you can go no further in - Ketosis is for all intents starvation mode for your body. As someone said , don't weigh daily -...

how did you decide what weight??

My ideal BMI says I should be 13st 10lbs ( I am 6' 2") which is totally ludicrous - I would look like a stick insect!!. I currently weigh 16st and I am going to stop at 15st - as it is I look like a shadow of my former self and I am also starting to look haggard. So sod the BMI - mine has gone...

    HELP NEEDED!!

I think exercise may help but also ask yourself why you picked the weight you have. Was it because this is where you were at a certain age - or perhaps before a child? You may not be being realistic about your target weight. CHeck it out.

    Reasons for losing weight

Well I am type 2 diabetic - If your Mum is Type 1 then she may not be able. Even so as a Type 2 I had to get it OK'd by my Dr before the pharmacy?LT would let me start. When I did this diet back in 2000 I was actually put on it via a trial at my local hospital run by my diabetic consultant so I...

    Reasons for losing weight

Well being a man and having three sons I didn't want to conceive! But being type 2 diabetic and losing control of it really got me worried so I decided that I needed to finally do something. Hence the LT. It has been a hard 7 1/2 months but so totally worth it.

    Disappointed - Help !!

Der!!!! What other diet could you do that would lose you 8 lbs in only a week? You'd have to cut off your head!!! Don't despair that is a brilliant result - keep going - you can do it!!

    Bowels!!!

You should remember that as you are now eating significantly less that you won't have the "mass?" that you had before the diet so you will not need to go as often.
  19. bigjeeze

to refeed or not to refeed?

Simply - Yes you will pile on the weight if you don't re feed. The initial weight loss in LT is because you lose the water that is reatined in the glygogen - this going is what gives you the intital large weight loss. If you don't re feed then this will come on in a day or two in almost the same...

    Advice...

If you eat without going on a refeeding session then you will put on as much as 7-10lb in a day!. Read the info you were given - when you start LT the first week is basically fluid loss from Glycogen stored in the liver - once this is depleted then the fat begins to burn - ie Ketosis. If you...

    Chewing gum?

needed extra shake felt like about to pass out .week 6 WI (on wed) & feeling faint !!

Get checked out by your Doctor. It's probably just that you have overdone the exercise - but possible you need more fluid. Either way check it out. When you are overweight it doesn't do to take on strenuous exercise without checking first.

    Flapjacks

One thing you don't have to worry about: it is healthy. What isn't healthy is carrying weight you shouldn't have. Before people start to criticise how you lose weight they should consider that they were probably saying you should lose weight as too much is unhealthy! They seem to want it both ways!!

I don't know - I also asked about Pempsi Max as that has zero calories of any kind - The Liptrim person said that it might encourage me to drink other fizzies - or maybe it has calorific values in the colouring. Fruit teas may also contain natural sugars.

Yes as you will see from my stats I won't finish until the end of Feb -although I am not sure that I won't carry on to lose an extra stone. The main consideration for me is cost - I just cant afford to keep spending on LT it's just too expensive.

5 stone in 3 months - opinions please!!

As said it will depend on how heavy you are. I started in July last year and in the first week lost 18lbs. I had originally thought I would lose 2 stone per month but found as I went on that it dropped down to around 1st 4lbs per month. That said after 5 months I had lost 10stone - so the...

    Pharmacy

I go every week but first go to the local Boots where I use their weighing machine. It costs 50p but gives height weight and BMI so all I need from the pharmacy is the Lipotrim stuff itself. That said I always ee the same person who is Liptrim trained.

How much do you pay for Lipotrim?

I might see if I can get mine elsewhere and save a few bob!

    Struggling - day 2 - need help!!

Go for it - it's hard at first but it soon becomes easier - Remember it is for you - no one else so don't let anyone change your determination or resolve.

    What keeps you going???

I have been on this since 18th July 2011 - so coming up to 6 months and I have at least another 2 months to go (inc Jan) to get to my initial target of 16st - then I have to see about going further to 15st. My ideal weight according to the BMI charts is 13st 10lbs but I cannot believe that I...

Did anyone else have Day 1 on Mon 18th July?

Keep strong - it does get easier. Just have smug thoughts about how good you will look and feel when the pounds begin to melt!

    my 1st day on lipotrim

I only have the chicken ( flavour!) soup as I can't take the shakes. I have the flapjacks too. I usually have a flapjack at 10.00am with three or four cups of black coffee then another at 3.00pm thern my soup at 7.00pm . Mind you I often miss them all when I am out or doing something but always...

    exercise

I am unemployed at the moment so can't afford a gym and to be honest I find exercise very very uninteresting. So far I have been doing a lot of walking and the occasional rowing session.

    Exercise Goals

I weight 29st 7lbs when I started and am now at 18st 8lbs and now find I can fit behind the steering wheel without my belly touching it!! I walked 2 miles yesterday - tired but good!

How much do you pay for Lipotrim?

I live in Bournemouth and have 2 flapjacks and a chicken soup and that costs me £48 per week. I feel as I am being ripped off but have no choice. Lipotrim should have one price for the UKand not let pharmacies rip us off.

    Anyone gonna watch 'Biggest Loser'?

I can't be bothered to watch as I think that the exercise apart they spend too much time moaning about not eating what they want!

    Struggling today.

Joe stay strong - this will all seem like a bad dream in a few days time. Just check your weight loss to date and look forward to the pounds coming off quickly. Just think it actually took you a very long time to put the weight on - but on the TFR it comes off really qucikly. You can do it.!

    blew it

Every one here is right - Just pick yourself up and start again. Remember this is for you not anyone else it's only you that is let down so remember that you are the only person who can forgive you - so forgive yourself and start again. go for it!

Thanks - as I am a man I'll not worry about the breasts bit! I am also 55 so again the lose falbby skin that comes with the weight loss I have is something I'll have to live with. I am not worried about what I look like naked. I will hopefully be getting an apronectomy when I have my hernia done...

    Why Lipotrim?

I think that whatever works for you is the one for you! It is worth remembering that ANY diet will work providing you stick to it. My problme has always been that if you let me have a choice I will make one - incudling cheats but with the LT there is no choice you stick to it and you lose weight...

    exercise

This is very interesting for me. I have now lost over 10 st and still have 3 or so to go. I find I have very little energy. When I go upstairs I find it difficult for lat flight ( I have 3) but , once I get there then I recover really quickly. I went for a 2 mile walk yesterday - which I felt...

    curious question

My personal opinion is that if you were going to go on refeeding and you have all the necessary shakes then you might just as well do the refeed and just start your intake control a little early. If the diet and all the help and support on here has taught me anything it is that losing the weight...

How do I know when I am in Ketosis

One thing to remember and that I found helped me enormously is that once you have managed to complete the 1st 7 days and then you have the weigh in and you find that you have lost anywhere between 7-15lbs the high that gives you is better than anything else.

    seriously noisy tummy?

I have been doing the diet since July and all of that time my stomach has been really noisy! Just ignore it!

Carbonated water is fine - but may make you feel uncomfortable so drink it slowly. It might be beteer to go for Soda water. No flavoured waters at all though!

    cost of lipotrim

I can see what you mean but I do find this diet totally over the top pricewise. Mine costs me £48 per week and as I am unemployed that is a killer. Also although the TFR formula keeps me in good health I am the one doing all the work - the TFR contributes nothing to my effort or determination...

Hi all. I have now been doing the Liptorim TFR since 18th July 2011. My start weight was 29st 7lbs. I current weigh 18st 11lbs. I am aiming for 15st . I had originally hoped for a 2st per month weight loss but it seems to have slowed down lately I now average 3-5lbs per week instead of a...
