    Week one and no loss??

How did it go Tattyhead? Even if you didn't lose your consultant should be able to offer advice. My consultant often mentions a lady that went on about a product she had fallen in love with, it was great, under 100 calories so fell in with the 100 calorie low fat treat... only it wasn't low...

    Christmas 8 Week Challenge

A bit disappointed that I gained half a pound this week, I've been feeling quite bloated though so I don't think it's anything I've done wrong food wise, maybe not drinking enough water? On holiday next week so definitely need support and willpower to not gain any more!! Hope everyone's well x

    New to Rosemay Conely .....

I agree with Dan. Just because the others are busier doesn't mean they're better! It would be nice to think you can eat as much (free) food as you like and lose weight and many do - but free food still contains calories, you still need to burn more calories than you consume to lose weight...

Hi Dan, Well done with resisting! I prefer RC, I haven't done WW for a long time, I did SW last year but I was too greedy and would eat too much free food!! The number of times stood in the supermarket with low signal trying to find out the syns drove me nuts as well, I much prefer being able...

Hi, I hope you're both doing ok? Well done Hayley on your first week loss that's really great, likewise I have a huge appetite but it's quite surprising that after only a couple of weeks you get used to the amounts. My first realisation of it was when we went out for dinner in my 3rd week, I...

    Christmas 8 Week Challenge

Calling all RC followers!! It's been far too quiet on here, including me, I must admit I've been feeling a little de-motivated of late. I achieved my 1 and a half stone on Tuesday, that's since the end of May 2012 - woo hoo! :bliss:I started out with a goal of 9st 7lb, so that would be 8lb to...

Treats and snacks for 150 calories or less.

For a chocolate fix I tend to go for a pack of fun size maltesers - 99 cals per bag or a hot chocolate, WW is my fav at the moment as it's almost like dark chocolate which I love, 40 cals per mug I get a Graze box delivered every couple of weeks which has a mix of low and high fat treats...

    Newbie .. Day 1

I'm glad it's going well so far pipkin. The easiest way to get your head around the fat rule is to look at different food packets, whatever you've got in your cupboard and compare the portion fat content and the 100g fat content and see how wildly it can vary. Perhaps try introducing it gradually and see how it goes? It doesn't have to be radical, see which foods you currently eat fit into low GI and gradually ditch the others. I've read up on GI in the past and I tend to go for low GI foods as some of it has stuck in my mind. I'm following the...

I wasn't aware that there had been a change but I'm a recent RC convert, previously I followed SW. The trouble I found with SW is that I was eating huge portions of free food and wondering why I wasn't losing weight :) I think it depends on your attitude to food, I find it very hard to leave...
