    Dukan-5:2 - the trial

Well done!! I'm so glad you have started to feel warm too! One of the things I have realised with this way of eating is listening to my body. I use to eat breakfast cos it's the most important meal of the day ... I don't actually want to eat till about lunch time. So I eat at lunchtime...

    Dukan-5:2 - the trial

You'll be fine when you weigh in. Trust me! I've been away for a long weekend and lived off take out. Weighed in today and I was 2lb up. Today is a fast day and I know when I weigh in tomorrow it will be gone. I normally weigh once a month so today was just to see how my weight fluctuated.

    Dukan-5:2 - the trial

You're doing really well!! Honestly, the first few weeks of having up days you will go overboard. But it does lose its appeal. This was one of my up days, about 3 weeks in, right, get this .... Sticky toffee pudding and custard, breakfast Fruit cake, dinner Spag Bol, tea That day I had...

    Dukan-5:2 - the trial

Yeah, oil is quite calorific. You could sub for very low cal mayonnaise which is around 11 cals for a tablespoon. Ill keep popping in to read. You will lose that last bit of weight. Don't spend to much time worrying about what you eat on a feed day, just enjoy them.

    Dukan-5:2 - the trial

I lost weight just by using MFP so calorie counting and exercise, I run about 3 miles every night, not much, but it's something better than nothing. Plus, I walk everywhere and quite often will walk the long way home after I've taken the boys to school, which is about 2 miles. However, my...

    Dukan-5:2 - the trial

Hi I've was doing 5:2 for about 7 weeks as I only needed to lose half a stone. I'd lost 3.5 stone through diet and exercise but I couldn't shift the last half stone. Plus, I was getting so fed up of not being able to eat the foods I wanted, like a slice of cake! I was starting to develop an...

*Almost SYN-FREE* home-made soft cheese - in any flavour you like!

This is the only soft cheese we have in the house now. I have tried lots of different versions, like adding chilli etc. All of the cheeses have turned out fantastic. Garlic and herb is my all time fave. I cook with it too! I make a bacon, onion, courgette and pasta dish. I add this cheese to...

    Hairy Dieters cook book

The jalfrezi curry is amazing! I don't use the oil to fry the veg and spices, I don't use fry light either; just dry fry. But if you don't like a hot curry, don't put the directed amount of chilli. We love hit curry so add more chilli. But the texture and taste is like a takeout/restaurant meal.

New to calorie counting, few q's

Yep, MFP is fantastic for counting calories. To answer your question, I eat what I want but stay within calories. I allow myself 1500 cals a day. I don't drink so I don't have to take alcohol into consideration. I exercise and try to aim for about 200 - 400 cals per day. Giving me 1700 - 1900...
