Good so far thanks! I'll be getting weighed on Wednesday evening, so will be on day 6. First time I did CD I lost 10lbs the first week, but I know I definitely won't be hitting that! I would hope for about 7lbs this week! Alan

    Step2 810kcal My Cambridge Journey 12.11.12

Hi there Congratulations on the journey so far! I'm on day 4 so I know what you are going though!! Only advice I would give is not to skip meals. You need to think of it in terms of regular small meals to ensure maximum weight loss... It basically keeps your metabolism going. When I did CD...

Price of CD? Can you combine with other diets?

I did exactly the same!! I was so hungry on exante though, and nothing replaced the tetras.... The tetras were the reason I was so successful last time I don't think the CDC's will sell to you like this, they have to account for everything and follow a code of practice. Alan

Step 1 Sole Source Only lost 1.5 lbs?

Stick with it though! I know we all want it off quickly, but as long as we follow the plan, in the long term is physically impossible not to lose weight on this diet!! Just need to get through the first week and I'm sure everything will seem much better! Alan

    Restarting today!

Step 1 Sole Source Only lost 1.5 lbs?

Last year when I did this diet for the first time, I think I only lost about 5 lbs the first week but about a stone in the second! Just remember that even on this diet everyone will lose at different rates..... You need to focus on the fact that you ARE losing, no matter how much it is!! Alan

    Loose Excess Skin

Hi, When I was doing cambridge diet my consultant advised me to use palmers cocoa butter, they do one specifically for weight loss. I got it from boots. Can't say whether it worked, I def had loose skin at the end of the diet, but it could have been a lot worse! I think trying anything is...

If you are struggling with money and need to pay a bill, i'd say sell. Especially as you haven't used it in such a long time! worried, thoughts please

For me, I always believed your body can't do the two together...... Lose weight and add muscle. I suppose I made a decision over what I wanted the most.....losing weight was at thebtop of the list. I accepted that therevwas the possibility of losing some muscle during the diet, but being...

How do the packs compare to Cambridge/Lighterlife?

I did Cambridge last year and will be starting exante on Tuesday. I realise the taste may be different, but there will be other benefits.......the price for a start!! It's over half the price of cambridge for me! My 1 month pack for exante cost £110 with water flavouring. On CD, a month set me...

    Easy home workouts???

Bodyweight exercises would be good! They would be gentle in terms of movement, but taxing in terms of strength conditioning! Lots of sites have free workouts if you search online, but bodyrock.tv is always one I'd recommend. Wii or xbox kinnect would add a fun dimension to your workouts...

Can anyone recommend - Body Analyser Scales?

Last year i got a salter mibody scale. Does, weight, body fat, body water, bmi, bmr, muscle ratio etc etc. I think the important thing to remember is that these type of scale are never 100%accurate, but it will give you a good indication of what the current situation is! I've been very happy...

Does anyone else feel like this is cheating?

Personally, I don't think it's cheating. There are lists of diets you can choose to do. The results you get with them differ. On this one, I'd say (for me!) it's harder to start and stick to, and has a bigger impact on your social life, but it means you lose weight faster. I'd rather lose it...
