1.5 lbs for me this week as well, hopefully more next week when I start walking again. Poor dog had kennel cough so I had nobody to drag me out and about! Sorry for the no-show last week as well, we're moving house and everything is mad. Good to see everyone's losses, you're all doing so well!!

Aw CS, I know! I usually have a mountain of potato and gravy, so I dread to think what the points usually are. Sarah, it may have been a light version but the points speak for themselves, it's definitely not a light meal! :) LikeAsweetshop, I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I hope it all...

    Weight Watchers Biggest Loser Challenge

CS, I just grilled some chicken breasts, instead of roasting a chicken, steamed a lot more veg than I usually do. I had a tiny portion of mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy. It was an astonishing 17PP, but omg it was so worth it. So not really a "mock" anything, but compared to what a roast...

    new minimins membr...need inspiration!

I've just posted this is another thread, so people are going to start thinking I have an agenda. (I really don't!) But I use this website a lot, skinnytaste.com It's annoying because none of the recipes are metric, so you have to kind of figure it out yourself, but I've made quite a few of...

craving comfort food, mac and cheese recipe anyone?

Hey, I'm a bit late to the macaroni party, but I made one from skinnytaste.com a while back, which was delicious and was 7PP for 1 cup. I don't know what it was in grams. I had it with homemade chicken nuggets so one cup was enough for me. It was great though, really nice and creamy. There's...

What r ur shopping trolley essentials???

My shopping must have is Fat Free plain yoghurt. It's great with fruit, or added to meals. It's even great as a snack on it's own, especially with agave syrup. Another thing I love as a treat are the sugar free hartleys jelly. It feels like something you shouldn't be having, but it's 0PP and...

What r ur shopping trolley essentials???

It's normally found around the grains, it looks like breadcrumbs. You soak it in water and add stuff like chopped peppers, lemon zest etc. It's a really tasty alternative to rice or pasta.

Anyone doing the No S Diet?

That's really interesting. I think the thing is with those countries you mentioned is that there is a culture of eating healthily too. The meditteranean diet is incredibly healthy. My friend spent a month in Italy last summer and lost a lot of weight by adopting their way of eating. I think...

Healthy eating, more expensive than junk?

I plan my meals really carefully now that I'm dieting and anything that is leftover is eaten, usually as a lunch. I think eating healthy only gets expensive if you plan badly, buy too much and end up throwing 50% of your shopping out. We spend maybe, 100 quid a week to feed 3 of us. But that is...

Caffeine info does it affect weightloss?

I cut down my caffeine when I read that it can stimulate your appetite. I do drink coffee some times before I work out, as it can help speed up your body's fat burning process, apparently.

    breakfast low ppts

That breakfast sounds amazing! Do you find though, that once you open the WW bacon, it goes a funny color really quickly. I had some last week and two days later, the bits that were left in the fridge went a nasty yellow/brown color. Is that normal, or?
  73. foodiegal

    Cinema food

I refuse to go to the cinema, my willpower just is not strong enough to prevent me getting a large popcorn. I don't think the 19PP would even put me off, which is terrible. Taking grapes is a really good idea though. :)
