I havent tried m&s but don't put it in the same class as a regular supermarket is it? I certainly couldnt afford to do all my shopping there! The supermarkets I have tried are bland, chewy and vile, I stand by that... blurrghh

its just about using your common sense (which you sound like you do have ;) some people think it ok to abuse the 'free' food but its just about eating lower fat/kcal food with a higher density til you are satisfied which leave you full longer. in saying that dont get too hung up on it and enjoy...

As patchwork says check online if you are a member there is a LOT more than the book, that's just your basics ... Lots if different cereals etc.. But if course the amounts depend on the individual items etc..

Oh they were gorgeous! Beetroot gave them a fab taste... Hubby who eats meat really enjoyed them too! Made 4 quarter pounders them rolled the rest into balls and froze for some kind of 'meat' ball recipe. Served then with garlic curry sweet potato chips as well off ppk :)

I made a frittata using tofu and it wasn't bad. This egg replacer you can use as a binder or to make anything you make with eggs... The yolk, or whites or Both it's quite clever although as a binder I don't think it's worth it in cakes and stuff there are so many things you can use instead of...

It is a pain in the bum ;) hub is in sw but not vegan and neither are my kids but I agree if I lived on my own it would be easier .. I'd be happy with a load of dried lentils and my veg box delivered each week ;)

They were on offer £1 in sainsburys , dried so I soaked them and used the stock from the soaked mushrooms - really tasty. Hubby had A HEXA of cheese in his and bacon :)

Have you tried frys? They sell them in most health food shops and def in h&b they are v tasty and def the best I have tasted . Can't eat Quorn as they arnt vegan but fry s and LM taste 100 times better than Quorn anyway :) you know LM does mince too? X
