3 CD bars a day only?

The guidance is that you can only have one bar to replace the shake/porridge/soup or tetra. You can DEFINITELY have three tetras a day if you wish. Mama22 I think you have misunderstood I'm afraid.

Those Photos some CDCs take , and what happens to them?

Hmmm I doubt CWP would get involved to be honest as it is not something that is encouraged by them or part of our "Code of Conduct". As I said its a service that we choose to offer. Just say no! It's your body and your rights. I dunno about it being part of "sales". Personally I don't give a...

They're not slating Cambridge at all. The prof was talking about dieting in general. This isn't a programme comparing Cambridge with Weight Watchers, the jist of it is to compare the struggles of losing weight. The articles online are a synopsis of whats being shown over the course of a week.

Fatboy, thats why you are worked back up the plans. To stabilize your metabolism again. Your new metabolism will be slower that the one you had at your old weight, because of course your body won't need to work as hard (burn as much energy) as it did to sustain your body at the higher weight.

Back from my gallbladder scan and...

Kelly, I was fortunate enough to have my Gallbladder removed three years ago. I hadn't realised how sick I was until it was removed. I really felt so much better. The consultant I saw at the time told me he does not recommend the laser as it really is only a temporary solution as they will...

    Painkillers?

I have stomach problems and painkillers upset me at the best of times. However, paracetamol are pretty gentle on the tummy and if you take them with a shake you should be ok. My sympathies, I hate the pain of toothache and I cry like a baby with it!

I have been a BAD BAD Girl!

I fell off the wagon big time at the weekend, had a big barney with dh, threw the dummy out the pram and ate everything I shouldn't have, chocolate, chippys, chinese, ice cream, you name it. Mostly on Sunday right enough but had plenty of vodka over the weekend. Weigh in on yesterday morning...

    Dulcolax?

I took one on Sunday night as I hadn't "been" for a few days. Went about 10am monday morning and then spent 45 minutes in the loo later on with major stomach cramps and the squirts. So please don't take anymore until you know how they affect you. You'll probably need to go tomorrow morning!

Hi Hun, Oh you sound really sad :-( Do you think you can keep it up until your weigh in? Why not see how you get on? The huge loss you are about to get may spur you on for the next week? If not, why not speak to your cdc about moving up a plan, perhaps ss+ or 810. To be honest, I really...

    Any celebs?

Whatever she did she is looking so much better for it. I like her, she's quite down to earth. She says her weight took a back seat due to her career and her children, I'm sure so many of us could relate to that!

    Symbols of achievement

Oh do you think a piercing would be more painful than a foot tattoo? Oh in that case, definitely not! lol. I did consider one around my ankle but then decided against that because it would be too sore! :-( I've only ever had my nose pierced and that wasn't painful at all, just made my eyes water.

    Any celebs?

Did anyone see Fern Britton in the papers this weekend? She is looking fantastic. She says she's lost her weight through diet and exercise. I don't know though, its been quite quick for her and I wouldn't be surprised if she's been on a VLCD!

    Symbols of achievement

This is such a fabulous idea! I've been considering a tatoo also, perhaps around my belly button. I was thinking of a butterfly, won't go into full details but because it reminds me of my wee nana. But I think it could also symbolise a flight into pastures new (well in my funny head anyway)...
