    what have i done??

I think the best way to deal with meal times is to just try not to make a big deal about it - when the kids ask why I'm not eating, I just say that I'm having my shake and leave it at that - I don't mention the words diet or trying to lose weight. They don't really question it now and once you...

    Week 2 weigh in...meh, bit dissappointed :(

My losses have been a bit up and down and you can't help but be impressed by others who have massive losses every week. It's easy to forget that normally you'd be delighted at losing 2lbs because maybe you expected to lose 4lb. I think you have to aim low then you'll never be disappointed and...

day 13. Totm arrives. Starving! Y?

I have had this also along with THE worst PMT I've ever experienced. I was starving and psychotic for about 5 days, but got through it. Don't know if I can go through that again tho. Maybe the body requires a higher level of carbs for TOTM? I don't know why it made me so hungry, but feel...

    Such a failure!!! :(

I lost 2 1/2 stone last year and put 1 1/2 back on. Had a failed restart in June - heart wasn't in it and only got through 4 days. This time have made it 5 weeks and the losses are the same if not better than last time - no probs there. First week or 2 definitely hard, but this is quickly...

    Foul Flapjacks

Flapjacks hampering weightloss Last time round I had a flapjack everyday and thought they were great - this time round I can't stomach them at all - AND the weeks I tried them, I found my weightloss suffered so last week cut them out completely and lost 4.5lb. Now maybe this is coincidence...

    Re starters question??

I am a restarter too - I lost 2 1/2 stone June last year and kept it off for a good while but it has slowly crept up 1 1/2 stone. I did 10 weeks last time but never made it to goal so this time I want to lose what I regained plus another 2 stone. I only have myself to blame for the gain -...

    can someone help?

If you go to the top of the lipo forum there are a couple of sticky threads - "how to set up your weight tracker" and "how to get around minimins" - they'll tell you all you need to know :)

    Being told when to stop

I also thought you could stay on till you reach BMI of 25. Your losses have been fantastic by the way - can I ask how much water you drink?

    2nd Week weigh in

Congrats on the loss!! I cook for 3 littlies and a hubby myself and haven't found it a problem - in fact I've really enjoyed preparing them all healthy meals. Even the lovely smells don't tempt me. I tend to not sit at the table though and disappear so there won't be q's about why I'm not...

Great start Gerry - makes that whole first week getting in to ketosis business feel worthwhile. Keep up the good work :happy096:

Congrats on the loss - fantastic! It gives you a real boost doesn't it? You're well on track to being slim for summer :)

    drinking too much water??

I aim for 3 litres a day - honestly don't think I could take more and am happy with my losses so far. I think 3-4lb losses are pretty normal after the 1st week.

    BLO*DY FREEZING!!!!

I am driving my OH mad by having the heating on and lighting the fire. I wrap up warm as well while he's sweating - literally.

    First weigh in

That's a fantastic weight loss! Seeing those pounds dropping off really keeps you motivated. Give the flapjacks one more chance - I hated my 1st, but tried again and it was OK. Now I have one every day and look forward to it (spot the flapjack fan!)

Flapjacks - To Eat or Not to Eat....

Awwww give em a chance. Reckon you should try another one before you decide. I had the same reaction first time and now I have one every day. Helps keep you regular. Were you given 1 flapjack and 1 female shake to make up the 1 male meal perhaps? 2 flapjacks would be difficult to get through. :)

    Week 5 WI

Haven't posted much as am a bit new to all this, but have been getting lots of support by logging on and reading posts. This is great as I don't find the pharmacy too encouraging. Was down 2.75lb today and it was pointed out to me that this wasn't as much as last week(5lb). I would have...

    SUPPORTING OTHERS

I don't post often but have found the forum an amazing support. Just tonight everyone else was chowing down on pizza, chips and garlic bread and the smell was driving me crazy, so I went and blended my shake and got online to help me get through it - and it really works. It would be easy to...

Flapjacks - To Eat or Not to Eat....

They are nothing like any flapjack I'd ever tasted before so don't be fooled. First time i thought they were disgusting, but I've learned to like them and have one every day washed down with LOTS of water. They have a kinda meaty texture and it's nice to be chewing again. Can't eat em fast...

    Gonna start!!!

Hiya - firstly I wouldn't worry about the taste of the shakes on the full lipotrim - you definitely get used to them and they don't taste so bad. Being so close to a healthy BMI you could easily do either to lose the weight (4 weeks on the full lipo then maintenance till you get to goal or just...

    one whole week

Well done Lillie! Impressive that you've managed without the patches too. Me and the hubby are on the patches at the moment (due to daughter having bad asthma attack). Looking forward to weaning off then being smokefree for good. Helps not drinking while on Lipo as that was always my...

    Confused??

My scales always show my weight about 2kg lighter than at the pharmacy. I know I'm still losing though and don't worry about it - just have to keep in mind the difference.

    totally messed up

Roxy - do you think you might not be in ketosis yet? It can take some a week and the time just before you reach it is the hardest. After that those cravings and hunger will be virtually nil.

    Help please guys!

My hairdresser told me to go to a health shop and ask for a supplement specifically for hair - haven't done it yet so I can't tell you what they're called. He said they do make a difference.

    Flapjacks

I'm in Wexford and tried flapjacks this week (week 4). Had trouble getting the first one down, but persevered and now I look forward to them. Definitely takes a few tries before you get used to them.

    Week 2 still tired

Great - thanks for that. Will just have to look after myself on those days then. Taking Lillie's advice and heading up for bath then bed.

    Week 2 still tired

Just starting week2 and feeling very tired and sometimes hungry. Anyone else had this and does the tiredness improve? Was in ketosis by day 3 so hoping my energy level will still get better.
