    I only use Lurpak lighter which is 4 syns per tablespoon. I know it's not the lightest one or lowest syn wise but I can stand any other spreads so worth splashing out on syns.

    The only problem with slow cookers is...

    Having to smell the delicious food cooking all day and the closer it comes to dinner time the stronger the aromas. Am having to stop myself from going into the kitchen and lifting the lid for a 5 spiced pork facial! Only an hour to go.

    Yes you can scoop the seeds out with a spoon. They can be a bit tricky to peel but I either roast it with skin on and eat as it goes soft or use a potato peeler. They're great for bulking out meals or make thick smooth soup. X

    At the moment its chicken, butternut squash, lentil & spinach curry. Either with boiled rice or SW chips. I make it extra spicy. It's fantastic. However, I think after reading a load of new recipes on here I'm going to have some new favourites! :)

    I think it was meal replacement diet with shakes instead. I was starving and also really missed chewing! Needless to say I have joined SW and am looking forward to cooking & eating normal food for myself and the family.

    How do you make your burgers ?

    I use 500g ex lean beef mince, grated in 1 onion, add salt, pepper, 1 tbspn dried parsley or mixed herbs (you can use fresh instead), 1 teaspoon of dried mustard powder & crumble in a beef oxo cube. Mix it all up then shape into 4 burgers. They should be tasty! Xx
