    Thinking of lipo trim

Hi Mark, I don't want to possibly be the bearer of bad news but I don't believe you can do a VLCD if you have certain mental health conditions as it may cause issues with your medication, for example I know one woman who is on Lithium for a condition and they won't allow her to do this type of...

    SS+ recipe

Yes I believe you are allowed white fish and tinned tuna. And yes rice is full of carbs. If you are thinking about ss+ you really need to have a look at your booklet and that will tell you what you can have (which isn't much)

    SS+ recipe

Why don't you try using one of the sauces over your chicken, for instance use the chilli soup for a sauce and add some more herbs and spices to it? I usually put piri piri chicken rub on my chicken then have it in a salad with fat free vinegarette? If you really don't like the ss+ options...

  128. hopefulslimmer

I never thought i would write a post like this but..........

I really only have the chicken and mushroom soup(pretty much all my CDC has) and if you add some chilli powder it gives it a nice kick. I think it smells a bit like the chicken and mushroom pot noodles but tastes quite good

The tomato soup is absolutely disgusting :jelous: The chicken isn't bad, but you need to add some tabasco to it. The chilli not the best but I haven't made crisps out of it yet so will need to try that. The veg isn't the best but is alot nicer than the tomato :p

Hey SlimMrsJ, I agree with NurseBex about the fruit as it contains sugars which are simple Carbohydrates? The reason you cannot just eat as many of the veg as you want is because this is a very low calorie diet. They have calculated the amounts of protein and veg we require within this diet...

any tips for a sore throat

If you have a sore throat you could always make one of your shakes into a smoothie with loads of ice so it is more like ice cream. The cold should help your throat and if you add a couple of sweetner tablets to it you could almost convince yourself you were eating ice cream. Just make sure you...

    Not too bad

I wasn't told that I couldn't have flapjacks in my first week when I went to the chemist and I have had 3 in a week, do you think this could have stalled me a little? BTW the coconut ones are the best, the peanut ones taste too salty :jelous:

haha, I know they have helped today anyway ;) I looked for Fibre Clear but I couldn't find it anywhere hence why I got the Senokot. I will, no more jumping on the scales until Saturday and I am going to try and drink 5 litres of water the rest of this week, see if it makes a difference :D

Thanks guys I know I need to persevere.:D I cheekily weighed myself today though and I haven't lost anymore. I think that I'm not drinking enough water and have to say am a bit bunged up. I bought Senokot tablets but when I looked at the ingredients it stated fructose as one of the...

    Not too bad

Well yesterday I went for my first weigh in, I know it wasn't a full week (only 3 days) but I want to get weighed on a Saturday and could only make the inital consultation on the wed. Anyway I managed to lose 4lb in three days which I am pretty chuffed about. I then had to go out and meet...

    Portions

Tod, It is really important that you have all your packs. I find making them into smoothies with lots of ice and some sweetener pills crushed up for the strawberry one, that it really isn't that bad. So much easier to drink and I actually enjoyed my strawberry one this morning and on...

    hi

Hey Sarah, I am on my third day and not finding it too bad. I haven't really suffered from any headaches and am not that hungry. Although last night even though I wasn't hungry I WANTED food. Just wanted something to eat, but I had the soup with tonnes of chilli powder in it and I was fine...

    IT STARTS TOMORROW

I had the strawberry shake last night but made it into a smoothie with lots of ice. It tasted like cardboard, if you can believe that, but I had a vanilla one this morning made as a smoothie and it wasn't actually that bad. Try it that way and see if it is better, plus if you put lots of ice...

Flapjacks - To Eat or Not to Eat....

Hahahaha I like that. I have been munching on one for about an hour now and still have half of it to go. It will take my mind off not being able to eat while at work though so they can't be all that bad??

    Flapjacks

lmao, whatever makes the day easier eh! I have to say that I am eating it a tiny piece at a time and it does grow on you. Plus it is nice to have something to chew. Makes me feel like I am eating something even if my brain tells me differently :D Plus with the light headedness I can try and...
