    Thanks for the replies. I do intend to ask my doctor but I can't get an appointment until Thursday so just wasn't sure what to do. I've been so hungry all day so I just ate healthy snacks as I felt I needed to plus regular meals. I think I'll just try keep that up for now :)

    Am I doing something wrong with these, I really coat the onion in egg but I can't get the breadcrumbs to stick all over it. It's only sticks in patches & then the exposed onion burns when cooking. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, I wouldn't be the best cook :o
