    This might mean you are out of ketosis, some people are lucky enough to stay in ketosis on 810 but you are clearly more carb sensitive. If you are really struggling I would speak to your cdc.

    I think there is 10g more carbs than the other meals. Thing with ketosis is its very individual. Some people can eat loads and stay in ketosis where with others the slightest thing can knock them out.

    Youll still lose weight and it will get slower as you near goal. Maintenance is the imortant bit though so dont be scared to get going, take your time and you'll find it much easier when you get to goal. Remember goal isnt an good if you get there and pile a stone back on within a month.

    Post Xmas:: Should I go back to SS ?

    Guessing you were on 810? Ive just moved up to 1000 so can sort of relate to that . Personally i'm happy going a bit slower as it will hopefully make it smoother but its completely your choice :) btw that xmas gain will sonn drop off, I had 13lbs and it went within 5 days of strict 1000 plan.

    I wouldnt worry for now, just wear the same every week. I just weigh in jeans and t shirt so will have to adjust at the end. :)

    Thanks. I feel really good. No real probs till I decided to give up caffeine and nearly ended up in a madhouse but that wasnt really diet related. The skin thing, I know a lot is genetics, personally speaking its never gonna be 100% perfect but a lot of it will go back and it can take months...

    Even if you dont post them at the start you may feel more inclined as you lose some weight and have some smaller ones to compare them with. I for 1 wouldnt post anything till i'd lost a fair bit, not sure if it was shame or what.

    Well 8 stone 11, about 15st 7 maybe more from the feed up :) Was christmas day and I was a bit drunk and bloated after a rather heavy day of over indulgance but i'm getting there. The before photo is there somewhere. :)

    As my cdc always tells me just stay in the present, dont worry to far ahead. Well done on deciding to do the diet it works well then when the time comes complete the maintenance and theres no reason why you wont change your habits.

    Southam, about 14 miles south of Coventry. Its a definate good last choice option as you would still be doing a cambridge plan. Good luck however you go about it. :)

    All I can suggest is to do 1000plan for a few days as its only 2 sachets a day. You will gain but it will only be glycogen and water which will of gone by the next week and you wont take 5 minutes to get back into ketosis. Not ideal but wouldnt do any real harm. :)

    Newbie guy starting SS today

    Welcome mate, not just starting but been on it for a while. Great diet that is very hard to get into but ok once you get into it but you will see results, and as most women moan about you will lose weight faster than them. Ive been losing a stone a month on 810 plan so you'll soon lose loads. :)

    its my planned day off, but i don want to do it!

    Just be careful, stick to wine and lemonade or something weak then potatoes as they are good clean carbs. I'm having weds and thursday off and will be drinking shandy although im already on 1000 plan, still very nervous though.

    How do medicines affect CD and Ketosis?

    Dunno about syrup but Ive always taken ibuprofen or paracetamol with no ill effects, just make sure you take with food.

    Moving up the steps to maintainence

    I'm going onto 1000 this weekend, have been on 810 for the last 4 months so weve decided its best to take it slow, will take me a good while longer but hopefully give me the best results after losing this amount. Looking forward to it and very nervous at the same time.
