Obviously I don't have enough time to keep a daily diary, but I'll try to update at least once a week! So, last week was pretty good, lost 2.6 kg, but I know that this will not go on like this, it will slow down considerably. I am really happy though, especially considering that we had to...

Hello! So I am back...again! With my tail between my legs! I had a rough couple of months, then a stressful couple of months preparing for my wedding and after that we (the husband and I) spend a bit more than a month just indulging ourselves! With that being said, we decided that it's high...

Quick question about the healthy extras - I am confused!

Well, the past week I was back home with my parents because I was defending my master's degree (a lot of drama to be shared in another post) and I didn't do Slimming World at all. I came back last night and this morning when I weighed myself I was relieved to find out that I had gained only...

    Monday weigh in

I was using a different page for my Monday morning weigh in and I was wondering why I was all alone! Now I know! :) Anyway, this morning 83.9kg, only a 0.3kg loss since last week, but since I pigged out on Saturday and I am in general a slow loser, it's at least something! :) Best of luck to...

    Tryingtolose's Food Diary

Just a little note, I am counting the maximum Syns that what I am eating might have, i.e. I might write that the butter that I used has 3 Syns, but according to my Syn list, that number of Syns is for 10gr of butter. It might be that I used less than 10gr. I still count all of the Syns, just to...

    Monday Morning Weigh In

So, Monday morning again! Today the weigh in was 83.9kg. Only 0.3kg lost since last week but I did pig out of Saturday (major party going on) and I am in general a slow loser, so I don't care. As long as something comes out every week, I am satisfied! :)

    Tryingtolose's Food Diary

Good morning beautiful people! I started SW last week, at home, with my boyfriend. So far it's been ok, I like it, but on my first week I've only lost 0.5kg and I think that's not nearly enough, especially since I have 30kg to lose. So I decided to start a food diary and in case any of you can...

Quick question about the healthy extras - I am confused!

Yes, I can understand that. The thing is that you have about 15kg to lose, whereas I have 30....so I think it should be a tad faster! Anyway, I am still going to keep going and see where it takes me!

Quick question about the healthy extras - I am confused!

It's nice to know that I can have more, because doing it as I was, it was really quite restrictive! To be honest though, today, after a week on SW I've only lost 0.5kg, so I am a little disappointed... :(

    Monday Morning Weigh In

I know it's Tuesday, but I didn't have time to weigh in yesterday morning, I had to leave at 6!!! Anyway, last week I started at 84.7kg and this morning the scales read 84.2kg. Not exactly a big difference, but I'll keep going...

Quick question about the healthy extras - I am confused!

Oh my! Thanks a lot! That's also what I thought but it looked too good to be true! Which unfortunately means that I've been doing my first week the wrong way! I had less than 5 Syns per day! Thanks a lot!

Quick question about the healthy extras - I am confused!

Hello everyone! I started SW last Monday, so far I really like it even though I think I've only lost something like 0.5kg, but as we all know slow and steady wins the race! I have a small question about the healthy extras (I am doing Green/Red days), are they supposed to count also in your...

    Last nights tea

I started on Monday! So technically this is my...5th day! I also found it a little difficult to understand in the beginning, but bear with it! It gets much easier after a couple of days! Especially when you'll see how full you'll be! Good luck! :)

    Last nights tea

Well for breakfast I usually have 28gr porridge made with a fat free vanilla yogurt and topped with a banana and lots of berries. It's very satiating and quite yummy. If you don't like the berries, if you find them too sour, use some sweetener. I usually don't. And for dinner, depends on what...

When do you stop being 'fat'?

I guess it will take time! But at least the good thing is that you have lost an incredible amount of weight! Your image about yourself will follow, soon! Maybe you could try on the clothes that you used to wear before you started SW. Then you will DEFINITELY be able to tell the difference! :) I...

I had breakfast a couple of hours ago: 28gr porridge made with 1 fat free vanilla yogurt and a dash of 1% enriched calcium soya milk, topped with a banana, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. It was yummy and it's been my daily breakfast this week! It keeps me satiated for at least 4...

Why are YOU losing weight? <3

I've always been chubby. I was at my thinnest (53kg) when I was 21-22 but at the time I was doing intensive kick boxing training 3 times a week and I was practically starving myself! For 1.57m, 53kg was pretty skinny, but my coach kept telling me that I am too fat and I need to lose weight...

Hi to everybody! I am new here. Healthy extras

I'm eating 28gr of oatmeal microwaved with a 200gr 0.1% yogurt and topped with strawberries or raspberries and half a banana (or a whole one if I still can!). It's quite filling and keeps me for a good 4 hours at least. Then I just wait another hour and have lunch!
