What's everyone reading at the moment?

I read The Book Thief by Markus Zusak over Christmas. I think it was one of those times where expectations were too high. People raved about this book, I liked it but it didn't totally blow my socks off.

    whats for lunch

For the third week I've made salads for 4 weekdays on Sunday. I've tried to figure out what will last so I can do this to help me save time/stay on track when I'm sometimes rushing out of the house in a chaotic rush in the morning. I make 4 because I usually work at home 1 day so I don't need...

Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

I'm more thinking I might stop sooner. I've fitted in to some trousers today that I've not worn for about a year. Once I can get into my skinny jeans...maybe that should be the test rather than a weight! It does make me wonder also when to go out and do some clothes shopping. I can actually...

Things that keep your mind of food

I try to always keep free food to hand because somehow it is the fear of being hungry that keeps my mind on food...at work I take lots of fruit with me. First weigh in tomorrow

I just had some on toast, I skipped breakfast so hadn't had my Healthy Extra B yet, oops! Also I've used it as a dip with celery sticks. I've got an onion and chive one. Doesn't taste of that much but keeps the hands and mouth busy?!!

    First weigh in tomorrow

Me too, I'm really nervous and skeptical because I haven't felt hungry at all. I messed up my first day because I hadn't read through all the booklet yet but since then I've stuck to it. But surely all that fat free cottage cheese is going somewhere?! Eeep! Good look for tomorrow, come back and...

    Gluten free HEs

Hello Sparkles, it is great to find someone else on here avoiding gluten and dieting too. I think I'll ask at my group on Tuesday but I doubt the lady who runs it will know, it is kind of unusual I guess. Although she says loads of people with coeliac and intolerances do SW but I was the only...

    what to do with fennel?

It is actually nice in salads if you slice it really thinly or use the fine slice thingy on a grater. Or in chunks and roasted with meditarranean vegetables. Or dice it finely and treat it a bit like onion or celery as part of a pasta sauce recipe.

    Plantar Faciitis & exercise?

Anyone else have Plantar Faciitis and manage to combine it with some exercise? I've tried and tried but cannot get back onto things like the cross trainer or bike, without increasing the pain. Swimming is working out so far, but I find the whole process a bit faffy, all the getting wet and...

    Beefeater

I'm going to a Beefeater tonight for a meal. I've been checking through the menu already and narrowed down my choices to a few options. I'm yet to have my HE option A today so thinking tomato and mozzarella salad starter, and either salmon or steak with veggies and potatoes or rice. Is it safe...

    Gluten free HEs

I have coeliac disease and have to stick to a gluten free diet. I'm finding a lot of my regular gluten free things are not counted as Healthy Extras! Boo! I just wondered if anyone knows how they figure out if something can count as a healthy extra? I'm going by the list on the Slimming World...

Hello, I just joined Slimming World less than a week ago and every time I searched google for low-syn recipe ideas or general tips or what to eat at restaurants etc, this website kept coming up!
