Thanks Sarah. I've laid off the bread for two days and noticed that my symptoms have calmed down an awful lot!! Think SW is the option for me - simply filling allows me to indulge in bread which clearly isn't great for me! X
My hubby is Brazilian and we eat here loads!
So easy to stay on plan- loads of meat, rice, beans and salad.
The hard part is turning down the sausages, garlic bread and desserts...!
Enjoy!
I lost 3 stones on slimming world and have been at target for over a year and a half now.
I decided to switch to simply filling to give my body a change.
I've noticed that since I started, my body seems to be rejecting me eating more bread and cereals. (I *think* that's what it is)
I've had...
I am 5'8 and initially set my target at 11 stone. I've since lowered it to 10 stone 7 as this feels more comfortable for me. For my wedding I would like to get to 10 exactly, but maintain around 10 4-6 for the long term :-)
I use Makro too, went last night actually...
We spent £150 on meat but that does two big gym going protein eaters a whole month, even more of salmon, steak, pork steaks, chicken breasts. We have two freezers and filled 5 drawers with meat!
Start weight 13 stone 8 pounds was size 14 top 16 bottom.
Target weight is 10 stone 7 but currently under at 10 stone 4. Now size 10 top and 12 bottom but occasionally 10 in dresses.
Want to lose 4 pounds to change target to 10 stone which would hopefully make me a size 10 overall.
My advice is to start ASAP. I exercised whilst on my journey to target. I've lost 3 stone 2 pounds and my body looks so much firmer and I have muscle definition. I do exercise a lot, between 6-8 hours when working and 8-10 when on school holidays but I love it!
I bought a polar HRM.
On average I tend to burn:
Pump- 400
Combat- 500-620 depending on instructor and extra tracks!!
Attack 600-620
Zumba 500 with my bestie instructor and 350 with others
Spin 350-400 for 45 mins
Gina- I'm amazed at the cals you burn!!!
I did the grit cardio one- was so so hard! And I'm used to attack on a regular basis!
I regularly do attack, pump, combat and RPM and also add in Zumba for a bit of fun and extra calorie burn. So about 8-10 hours per week.
I used to do body balance but the instructor now just isn't my cup of tea...
It's like a fusion of yoga, Pilates and tai chi.
It's nice when you have a great instructor!
Tried GRIT for first time last week.... Ouch!!!!! It's hard!
I met target in December 2012 and have since maintained my weight through exercise.
I want to reduce my target by 7lbs but have found it hard to lose any more weight.
I had to take a hard look at what I was consuming and I came to the conclusion that although I was following SW 100%, I was...
I've been spinning for a few weeks too...
I bought a gel filled seat cover as it hurt so bad!
Not my favorite gym class but its good to have a change now and again... :-)
I currently teach year 5 but I'm training to be a reading recovery teacher in September so won't have a class. What year do you teach? Is your new school near your new place?
I love them, they played a massive part in my weight loss and how my body looks today. I've gained a lot of muscle :-)
You can do it, anything is possible in a month!
I'm also a big Les Mills fan- regularly do pump, combat, attack and balance plus Zumba and ocasionally lbt!
I am at target and have been since Dec 12th 2012 :-)
Finding that I've still had to continue the EE plan to maintain though I've been able to increase my meals and drinks out with...
I get married in 551 days :-)
I got to target before Xmas after a loss of 2 stone 8. Want to ideally lose another 6 pounds though.
Going to try dresses on during Easter holidays, excited!
This year I got my resolution - to lose 2.5 stone and meet target.
What does 2013 have in store???
oI would like to initially maintain my loss but possibly renegotiate target to lose another 1/2 stone
oget defines abs and arms with help from my PT and gym work
ochoose my wedding dress and...
I too got to target this week and am terrified of putting on weight over Xmas. I've been amazing this week not touched a single chocolate at work!!
Not using my extra HEB as I want to get to lower end of target so that any gain doesn't bring me out of target. Ideally I think I would like to...
Attack is the class of the devil! Haha! It's brilliant, but so horrible at the same time! I don't often get to go to attack as its during the week in the morning but when I have a holiday from school I often go :-)
I'm a big les mills fan too :-)
Manage to do 3x combat, 1x pump and 1x balance per week as well as 2x Zumba and some extra cardio/weights stuff that my PT sets me.
Total gym convert!
I'm 5'8 and 11 stone 2 and a half. Two and a half from target.
Trousers size 12
Top size 10/12 - I needed size 10 for the first time in my life in primary this weekend!
