Spag bog? Spicy?

I ordered the spag bog after reading the SnS website and there is no mention that it is spicy. However on receiving the packs it says on them spicy spag bog.

Is it spicy? I hate anything spicy at all, I cant even put pepper in scrambled eggs.

Hi tinkerblonde! i hate spicy stuff too, my lips blow up like baloons but i dont know if my taste buds have changed as i dont find it spicy at all! the chilli is a little but even that is so tasty!
 
Not spicy spicy.... I don't like spicy stuff, curry-wise can only go as high as butter chicken! I love the spag bol though. Give it a try, the chili is a bit spicy to me but not the spag bol.
 
I love spicy! I even add chilli flakes to the spag bol, the chilli, the soups and the cottage pie!

You'll love it, i had it lastnight with mushrooms and brocoli and 85g of pan fried tofu with laods of herbs! it was delish!!!!
 
It does mention that the spag bol and chilli are spicy in the frequently asked questions sticky at the top of the foum. It's only a small amount though so if you plan to have your veggies with it then you may not find it too bad. The chilli is definitely spicier than the spag bol. Many people who like really spicy food add more chilli to it as they don't find it spicy enough but some people do find it a bit spicy for them. Best thing is to try it and see.

Actually writing this , I can feel a bit of after burn on my tongue but nothing to put me off. It was actually really nice. :)

I love them both.

Though my OH looked at me in disbelief like I was eating slop. They do taste better than they look.

It does look a bit like baby food but I don't care - it's much nicer than Lipotrim shakes - not to mention their vile flapjacks!!
Whoever would have thought though that we would get excited about little packets of dried food - life sure is strange!
 
Lorraine- what do the LT flapjacks taste like? I really like the idea of a flapjack but have yet to hear much good about them!
 
I love all the meals and do find it strange that I too get excited about preparing them with a bit of salad, I think I could live off them for ever they are so good, cant wait til the new flavour comes out yum yum
 
I had a nibble of an Exante toffee bar last week. It was quite nice and would be nice for a change of texture. It was more more like a Tesco bar texture than an oaty sort of thing tho.
 
Was it the shiny packet one? I think that's the 'new' spag bol. The old 'original' one is in the white packets. Was that the one you preferred. I would drop them an email and ask for the 'white' spag bols if they are the ones you want. I don't think the 'shiny' ones are due in until Friday so in theory you will get the white ones but worth dropping them a line.
