Anyone tried the crispy choc shake in new packaging?

Anyone tried the crispy choc shake in new packaging? Is it just me or have they changed the recipe? It used to be in white packaging with a plastic-y shiny coating, it's now in different packaging similar to the old choc/vanilla/banana/strawberry shakes but it now has the ingredients/instructions printed on it and tastes different :(

I get that they have to change the packaging to print the info on but why mess with the recipe? It tastes really sweet and more artificial now.

Tastes the same to me! The milk truffa bar is a little different though but in a good way and only slightly.

I emailed s&s after I got my last box as nearly everything was in the printed packaging, and after the problems that I've had with the stuff in the silver packs (which to me taste horribly salty), I was concerned that these too would be from the silver pack people.

I was assured that the only thing that has changed was the packaging, not the recipe or the manufacturer..

I thought the same for the oatmeal! It still tastes ok in the new packaging but it goes a weird consistency & colour when heated that it never used to do!!!!

How do you guys make the crispy shakes up? I've only ever had 1, with water, and it was absolutely rank :9529:

Was actually hoping they'd change it!

I use about 200ml of water, nice then.

Make it with less water and eat it with a spoon-it's lovely :)

Yep, I make it up with just a drop of water so it's a lovely thick cake mix consistency. It used to be lush but now it's nowhere near as nice.

I'm sure they've changed it as on the website it still has the banner saying there are 131 cals yet the 'new' nutritional info has 134 so it must be a slightly different recipe. Also, I lnow the data on MFP might not be 100% accurate but the entry I was using for the crispy choc shake has slightly different carb/cals/fat values to the info printed on the new packaging. Not fair!

MFP has been quite severely wrong for almost every pack I've added to my diary on there! Wouldn't trust it at all.

Surely you only need to use MFP if your adding your own things? If you stick to the packs then you have no need to check the nv's?

Well you do when you're having the protein meal, add it all in so I know how much I've got left to have for that meal. Need to track it all, I do anyway!
