Cheesy pasta omlette?

ClaireCat

On a mission for boobs!
Hello, I'm at work at the moment, so if there is a recipe for this already kicking about please shove me in the right direction.

I quite fancy an omelette for dinner, but I was wondering if I made up the cheesy pasta pack and used it in with egg whites and a bit of milk if that would work to give it that nice cheesy flavour?

I should think so. I've taken the pasta out of a similar cheese pack and just used the powder to make things cheesy and that has worked. Did you give it a go?

I havent tried it yet. I did try using a cheesy pasta pack to make celeriac dauphinoise, but I don't have a small enough casserole dish and I made too much and it was too watery. I'm going to go and buy a smaller dish at the weekend and try again!

Hi Claire,

This is what you need for a "Pasta Omelette"

Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 cup leftover dresses pasta
Salt as per taste
1/4 tsp dried rosemary
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/8 tsp white pepper powder
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
3 tbsp olive oil

Method

  1. Beat eggs
  2. Add all the ingredients except cheese and oil, mix well
  3. Heat oil in a pan
  4. Pour the mixture
  5. Tilt the pan from all sides, so it spreads all over the pan
  6. Put the grated cheese
  7. Cover and let it cook till cheese melts
  8. Slide into plate
  9. Cut into 4 pieces
  10. Serve hot

Time Taken : 15-30 mins

That isn't a vlcd recipe.
