Birthday Celebration Advice

February is here, and although it means away with the January blues..... it's the month I have been dreading!!

February is going to be a tough diet month for me, and I could do with some advice on how to be good, but not spoil all my fun!

I turn 27 this month. I live away from home and from most of my friends I grew up with and my friends from uni. This means that I end up having about 4 different celebrations for my birthday. Which is always great fun and before now delightful. But, i'm now really worried about my diet and hitting my goal weight in time.

My first mini goal date is 21st Feb, which I am 4lbs away from. And I will be absolutely GUTTED if I dont hit it.

So, help me! I currently do red or green day plans. If you have any advice on which day may be better for each activity or any words of wisdom on how to be good on each day then PLEASE share!

Birthday Celebration Number 1: (Green Day) Afternoon Tea.
I will be sipping tea all afternoon (will save my HEA for milk). There will be sandwiches and there will be cake. I will obviously have to take syns for the cake and just have that a naughty treat. The sandwiches however (although I know will include syns) I'm sure there will be a way for me to better with them. I have no idea what is on the menu. I'm assuming on a green day that I could go for wholemeal bread options with cheese/egg based fillings? Or I could go for a red day and have meat based fillings. Obviously i'd have to second guess the syns on marg or mayo etc.

Birthday Celebration Number 2: (Green Day) Cocktail Night.
This will be the same day as the afternoon tea!!! So syns-galore!!! Any low syn drink ideas? I'm normally a white wine girl which I know is about 6 syns a glass). or vodka and lemonade.

Birthday Celebration Number 3: (Red Day) Lunch with the Parents
They have very kindly considered my dieting needs and booked a steak/grill resaturant so that I have alot of meat options and can ask for it to be without the carbs etc if i so wish. I dont want to spoil all my own fun though, so may ask for a side of boiled potatoes and eat the allowance as a healthy extra. Depends how guilty I feel about the cake and drinks from the previous night!

Birthday Celebration Number 4: Meal with the Hubby (on my actual birthday)
In light of dieting and money, we have decided to stay in and cook something nice. So I have decided to go for a SW receipe and will save syns all day for it. There are just so many!! Any favourites from anyone would be greatly received!

After all this, at the end of February I am spending a 3 night city break in Paris, where I WILL NOT be dieting, so I am trying to be good as possible where I can. And obviously all the days in between I will stick to my plan and my max of 10 syns a day.

Gosh, February is going to be tough!!
