After faffing about big time for the last year - trying sw, then going back to ww, then back to sw, all without much effort, im finally making a proper effort from today.

My house is full to the brim of Easter eggs, which my kids arent interested in - so thats my biggest challenge. Tomorrow is my birthday and my hubby has delivered 20 jam doughnuts to work for us all, so i will be indulging in one of those but im really trying to give this a good go now. My aim was to get to goal for my birthday but clearly thats not happening now, so im aiming for my holiday now, which is 20th July. its approx 13 weeks away and i have 20lbs to loose.

Food today - April 16th - Red day
B: 2 boiled eggs
S: hot choc - 2 syns
L: 3 ryvitas (hxb) and 71g light phili (hxa) and prawns
S: strawberries, blackberries and yog
D: bolognase, actifried hxb chips and hxa cheese
S: doughnut - eek?

Tomorrow is my birthday and im PLANNING on scrambled egg, mushrooms and bacon for breakfast, not sure on lunch and im out for steak in the evening - hopefully, so shouldnt be too bad a day.

Wish me luck on my 3rd and final attempt at shifting these pesky lbs. xx
 
Ok, so i weighed myself this morning as the official first day of my new start. Im 10.11, which was a bit of a shock, so im 26lbs away from my goal.

Todays food
B: scrambled egg (free)
S: blackberries (free)
S: crabsticks (free)
L: bolognase (free), pasta (hxb) and cheese (hxa)
S: yog (free)
S: apple (free)
D: ribs, rice (synned), stir fry veggies
S: strawberry ice cream made with onken ff strawberry yog and a dash of skimmed milk

Yesterday was my birthday and despite my beautiful food plans, nothing went to plan whatsoever. I had two slices of white toast with butter and jam, a maryland cookie, a bag of hula hoops, 2 breaded mushrooms with garlic mayo, cheese and onion pie, massive onion rings, a freddo frog, some pork scratchings, two glasses of fruit wine, half a portion of chippy chips, a fritter, curry sauce and a slice of bread! Then i zonked on the sofa and woke up feeling a bit sick - wonder why!!
 
Still feeling positive and pretty pleased with myself (yes, after only one day - thats good going for me just lately).

S: 2x mini babybells (a)
S: curry cauliflower soup (free)
L: 3 ryvitas (b), 71g phili (a) and smoked salmon (free)
S: crabsticks (free)
S: grapes (free)
D: ribs and (b) chips
S: yog (free)

loss thats great.I have been on and off the diet for weeks now, i need to get my head round
it for my hols in August need to lose about 3 stone. I am doing red days. xxxxx

Oh yes, please join me! Looks like we are aiming for the same target weight. Do you have a diary i can have a read of? How long have you been doing it?

its reallt doing my head in now

today i had
breakfast Bacon and egg
lunch butternut sq and red pepper soup 2 bread
tea tonight Spagetti Bolognese

but what am i like just had 6 bloody biscuits with my coffee

LOL, its so easy done though isnt it? I do recommend keeping a diary, even if its just for yourself and written down in a pad. I find that it helps me enormously to write down what im having. I did go slightly off track yesterday by having a kinder egg, but im prety sure that wont have put me over my syns. The mackerel at lunch wasnt the best idea coz i had more than i had allowed - i love mackerel. At least i wasnt overdosing on chocolate though!!

Are you sure youre eating enough there? Id be starving on that. I have to eat at least every hour!! You can have two HXB's and A's on red. I cant see any a's and only one b. I think id go off track if i were only eating that amount. I need my HX's.

I dont go to class. I worked it all out from these lovely boards but did decide to go after Christmas for the proper info and found the class really didnt suit me. I had to take my daughter with me so rarely stayed for the actual class. I now weigh myself most days but officially on a monday. I find it helps me behave over the weekend if i know im being weighed monday morning.

Feel free to post your diary on here and ill feedback what i think, but i really think you need to eat more - much more.
 
I went a little off track yesterday. Had a difficult day at work. Had a glass of fruit wine and my nutrageous bar. Delicious though and worth it. Ive come into work to find a cupcake sale going on at the end of my desk so thats todays challenge.

Anyone notice a pattern with my food!!! Yawn
D: beef and chips with something. I want a roast dinner, hubby wants to make the beef into a curry. Will update tomorrow with the winner. Id prefer curry to be fair but i cant work out the syns in it so it makes me nervous.

The weather here to is really wet and windy, it make us all feel fed up when its like this.

Thanks. I love my food. I know i tend to have almost the same thing during the day, but i really enjoy it and i know it fills me up. Im literally eating all day
8.30 - egg
10.00 - banana
10.30 - apple
11.30 - soup
1.30 - ryvitas, phili, jam and salmon
2.30 - grapes, strawberries, yog
then i somehow manage all the way till approx 8.

Weather here is vile too. its horizontal rain. From 70 cupcakes, there's now only 3 left. Im so proud of myself.
