Food diary - to make everyday a SW day!!!

Aim to post all food here each day to keep me on plan all week, not just some days of the week!!

Food for 2morro is

B > mushroom & cherry tomato omelette followed by a banana

L > lime & chilli chicken with lettuce, cherry toms & cucumber & maybe some cous cous

D > Bolognese pasta bake with Hex A cheese through it with side salad

Will update this later in the day as it's my snacking at night I want to sort out!!!

B - omelette (f) with toms (sf) & mush (sf) with tbsp beans (f), cup of green tea (f)
Snx - coffee (f) & Alpen light bar (1/2 hex B)

L - Cajun chick breast (f), lettuce (sf), toms (sf),cucumber (sf),1 tbsp light choices Caesar dressing (0.5) can diet irn bru (f)

D - Bolognese pasta - xtra lean mince (f), quorn (f), Tin toms (sf) onion (sf), stock cube (f), tsp chilli powder (f), fry light (f), 25g cheddar (hex a) breadcrumbs (hex b), SW spiced wedges (f), 2 scoops carte d'or ice cream (6)

SMS - 2 chicken tikka kebabs (f)

Tue

B - bacon, scrambled egg, beans & loads of mushrooms, & a black coffee
Snx - cappuccino (hex A) & fruit scone & butter (11.5) - out with friends & kids!!!

L - mince (6) & mash (3) out for lunch with parents!!!

D - 2 light choices sausages (2), 100g oven chips (2.5), beans (f), tsp brown sauce (0.5)


Way too many syns but no alcohol!!!!

Wed

B-bacon (f), beans (f), egg (f), & mush (sf), black coffee (f) & glass water

2 s&v snack a jacks (4) & bottle of wine (27)! & I wonder why I can't lose weight!!!

Ready to start properly tomorrow!!!! Planned the weeks meals, joined the January weight loss challenge, dry January group, joined a 10,000 steps group & 10 hours exercise in jan group - mean business this time. Turn 35 in April, would be fab to buy a much smaller outfit for it & I know I can do it if I eat well, nae wine & a wee bit of exercise!!!

I've just started back on SW as well, well done for joining all those groups!
I'm struggling to fit exercise in as I work full time and have a 2 year old daughter, but I've got to try and do it somehow.

Looking towards the beginning of your diary, I know it was a while ago but how did you make the lime and chilli chicken? Sounds delish!

L > Heinz cream of tomato with a chilli kick (11) (decided to use it up!) roast beef (f), salad leaves(sf), Brie (hexA), tbsp ww salad cream (1), 2 boiled eggs (f)

D > spinach & ricotta cannelloni (stuffed with super free!) (6 for cheese topping), salad (sf)

Syns > mini cheddars (6.5) (kids were eating them!!), aldi mini choc bar (5), oven roasted Cajun chicken breast for supper(f), 2 slice of cooked ham (f), 2 Alpen light (hexB)

Not a good start but used up the stuff that was lying about. Meals all planned for 2morro & meals will all be almost syn free so if I need a snack I can have it guilt free. On the plus side - no wine today & walked 40 mins with the pram this morning!!!

The lime & chilli chicken was lovely. I just sliced a red chilli on top of a chicken breast & squeezed some fresh lime over it, wrapped in grease proof paper & ovened for 30 mins at 180. Really nice with a salad & some mango.

Love Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni, going to have a look for this recipe now :)

I chopped a whole bag of spinach, mixed in a tub of ricotta, chopped basil, chopped red onion & chopped mushrooms. Stuffed the cannelloni with the mixture. Laid them out in an oven dish, covered in pasatta & fresh chopped basil & topped with sprinkling of cheese. Baked at 200 covered in foil for 20 mins then uncovered for 20 mins. Fed me, partner & 2 small portions for the kids & I froze the same again as it made so much mixture. X
 
Wednesday 8th January

B > 3x bacon (f) 3 x magic pancakes (Made 7 so had rest for supper) (hexB), black coffee (f)

L > potato, ham & green chilli frittata - potato (f), ham (f), sliced chilli (sf), 2x egg(f), 14 sprays of olive oil (1), salad of tomatoes & cucumber at the side (sf), diet irn bru (f)

Afternoon at friends > fruit scone & butter (11.5), black coffee (f)

D > carbonara - spaghetti (f), bacon (f), Parmesan (hexA), egg (f), 14 sprays of oil in whole family meal (count as 1 to be sure) ~ just realised there was no super free in my dinner!!!

Snax ~ ham (f), pickled onions (f), tomatoes (sf), 2 left over potatoes (f)

Syns > 1+11.5+1

Hi, your dinner sound lovely. I love roasted veg but hubby doesn't so I don't make it often. It's a great way of having super free though as it's so tasty.

My OH is the same really but I'm just making him eat it now! I had the leftovers for lunch today too which was great. Hope you had a good day. X
