Hello Everyone!

STARTING TODAY.. Eeekk!!

This is my first time doing slimming world. I have tried various diets in the past from shake diets to VLCD - nothing seems to work as I always feel I'm missing out. This 'diet' is going to be a lifestyle change not a some sort term fad.

I am currently a stay at home mummy to a gorgeous almost 2 year old little boy. My partner is also doing slimming world with me as he also needs to shift a few lbs.


My starting weight -
24/03/2014 - 12st 3.04lbs


Just waiting on my tesco delivery of all healthy goodies and cleared out any rubbish in the cupboards yesterday :)

As I said at the start iv never ever done or found out about slimming world so doing it online - Extra Easy. If you see I'm doing something wrong please tell me hehe!

Looking forward to saying goodbye to rubbish crappy choices...
 
Yaay! I found your thread. Don't know what's harder trying to get my head round this forum or the EE plan.

How's your day been - is it making anymore sense to you yet?. I'm a stay at home mum too, only difference is my kids are 23, 15 and 14 lol :D I suppose I'm fortunate that hubbs goes out to work and I can stay at home. Bet you've got your hands full :)

Day is going well thank you, just had dinner. We eat so late as boyfriend has long work days.

Aww yeah I love staying at home with my little guy but it is a big contrast as I had a good career before my little guy came along, hoping to get back in to work when he gets a bit older.

Just about to upload my food for the day :)
 
Day 1 Menu

Breakfast
Banana
Muller light

Lunch
Egg only omelette with peppers, mushrooms and spring onions.
3 table spoons of beans

Snack
Allen light bar HEB
Few slices of cucumber

Dinner
Maggi sweet & sour seasoning pack 1/4 - 41/2 syns
Peppers, onions, broccoli, green beans, baby corn
4 table spoons white rice

Yeah I'm just having another muller light as I fancy a chocolate lol I am T total so no booze is fine with me lol xx

I've had a sugar free jelly pot - think I'm just gonna have to go to bed to stop me eating the whole biscuit drawer lol :D

Lunch
Pack of king prawns with salad
2 tablespoons light mayo 4 syns

Snack
Muller light strawberry cheesecake 1 syn

Jacket potato
Beans
2 light babybel HEA
Salad

No snacks today had a tough day with a personal issue, proud of myself I didn't find comfort in food :)

Tomorrow is a new day :)
 
Well done on finding another way to deal with those things where food would normally be the only answer. I think that's half the battle for a lot of people. Food for fuel not comfort. I just had a big bowl of porridge, pineapple and 0% Greek yoghurt - damn it was good!. :D

Thank you Lisa, think I went the other way of not eating when I'm upset - I like that way better LOL as I didn't want any snacks. All issues dealt with after a very long day. Off to sleep now finally :) hope you have a skinny ninny day xx
 
Very manic day today, busy busy, cleaned kitchen from top to bottom, food shop and met up with my dad for some dinner. He lives almost 3 hours away but was only 40 mins away on a course so we met up for dinner.

Dinner
Chicken, rice, veg and soy sauce at Wagamama - unsure on sins and just classing it as all my days syns.

Iv hardly eaten today to not worrying too much about the meal out. Back to eating lots of fruit and veg tomorrow :)

I am pleased with myself though I turned down dessert and didn't choose the battered chicken with curry sauce! X

You've had such a good day!! :) you're a better woman than me I'm weak of body and mind when I eat out so I basically try to avoid it like the plague or until at least I've lost quite a bit.

Is your weigh in day Monday?

I would have avoided it but I don't often get to see my dad, so it is a nice treat out and that's never going to change so I'll just make better choices.

Aww don't call yourself weak Lisa, you are not weak you are making steps to change it is hard! I'm more determined because I'm doing SW with my bf so we are supporting each other loads which is really really helping :)

Yeah I weigh in Monday - might change to Sunday though as I'm going out for a mummy's day meal "roast" and I'm having my mummy's day dinner and in gonna bloody love it lol!!
