Hi! I've just recently started Slimming World, and every time I google for syn values when I'm out and about this site comes up, so I bit the bullet and joined! I've been doing it for a couple of weeks and not lost anything, so I'm determined to be strict with myself. Starting a food diary on here, so if anyone has any hints or suggestions or ways I could change it up, please let me know :)

Today (well, technically yesterday):

Breakfast - 2 Alpen Light bars (HEB)

Snack - a banana, a small tub of carrot sticks

Lunch - baked potato, with 2 babybels (HEA) and a snap-pot of Heinz beans

Dinner - Turkey escalope, griddled in cajun spice, soy sauce and 1/2 tbsp honey (1.25 syns). Served with baby potatoes and a salad with dressing (1/2 tbsp olive oil @ 3 syns with balsamic vinegar & seasoning)

Snack - 2 Oreos (5 syns)

Total: 9.25 syns
 
Today:

Breakfast - scrambled egg with spring onion on 2 slices wholemeal toast (HEB), with a handful of cherry tomatoes

Snack - banana, small tub of carrot sticks

Lunch - pasta with rindless bacon, peas, spinach, and a sauce with lightest Philadelphia (HEA), and 1 tablespoon fresh grated parmesan (1 syn), and a half tsp mustard (around 1/4 syn I think)

Snack - muller light

Dinner - homemade soup, packed with chicken, carrots, celery and leek.

Then 3 Oreos (2.5 syns each)

Overall just under 9 syns :)
 
Thursday:
B - 1 tbsp nutella (4 syns) spread over 2 slices wholemeal toast (HEB), with a chopped banana
S - 2 skinless chicken legs
L - salad with peppers and tomatoes, chicken breast and half a spoon of thousand island dressing (around 1 syn)
S - a pot of grapes and strawberries from Tesco
D - pasta similar to wednesday's lunch, with philly as my HEA, 1 syn worth of parmesan, and around 1/2 syn worth of mustard, but with smoked salmon instead of bacon
S- 2 oreos

10.5 syns
 
Friday:
B - 1 tbsp nutella (4) with wholemeal toast (HEB) and banana
S - carrots
L - same as Thurs, around 1 syn
S - grapes and strawbs
D - bean and veg chilli, made Free. With cheese as my HEA and 2 tbs sour cream (3 syns)

Saturday was totally off-plan. It was my step-dad's birthday.

B- banana
s- chocolate biscuit
L- tomato, mozzarella and basil salad; chickpeas in garlic, olive oil and herbs; sour dough bread and butter; french bread and butter with smoked cheese; salami, bresaola, prosciutto; salad with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and parmesan; asparagus wrapped in parma ham.
For afters, 2 slices of homemade orange sponge cake with chocolate frosting, a slice of homemade strawberry pavlova.

Total fail of a day diet-wise, although delicious. And I was still down 2lbs this week so, yay :D
 
Monday:

b - 1tbs nutella (4 syns) and a banana on wholemeal toast (HEB)
s- carrots
l - chicken salad, spoon thousand island dressing (1 syn), muller light
S- chicken tikka double dippers (4.5 syns) 2 babybel (HEA)
D- beef and veg stir-fry, homemade free sauce, rice

around 9.5 syns

S - banana, carrots
L - Tesco pesto pasta with spinach and sunblush tomatoes (11.5 syns) with chicken breast
S - muller light, apple
D - free homemade chicken and veg soup
