March Savings Challenge :)

Hey guys,

I would love to build up a little emergency savings pot, and thought maybe a monthly goal would help keep me on track.

My goal is £2000 by the end of the year which works out at £200 a month.

So I'm off to start looking for things to chuck on eBay and to check out quidco etc.

Does anyone want to join me? It can be for anything, maybe you have a little holiday coming up, or a night out, or you want a new computer etc

There is no failing, it's not a competition, all about ideas, tips, advice and support :D xx

I'm in, at the mo I save money for our holidays, but it looks like some of my savings will be going in our Spanish account, I need about £2500 for Peru in Sept and that is my goal. I know you posted a link for selling books so I'm going to look at that over the nxt few weekends, I'm going to see if there is anything I can sell on eBay but don't think so.

if anyone hears when there is a fee free weekend on eBay I'd love to know about it.

HAPPY SAVING :D

I want to save for a weekend away with my sister and another friend. I need £300ish so that will be my target. But bf and I are concentrating a lot on paying our debts at the moment so it's gonna be a slow journey to get there.

Shall I start a general money thread for March to keep this separate??

Can do Hun this can be the fun one (for things we WANT)

Where are you off on your weekend? X

Well it was going to be June/July but my sister now wants to postpone to October as her childcare costs go down in September.

I think the plan is to put the money aside so that we can book it when we see something we like.

So it will be up to £200 for an all inclusive weekend and a bit of spending money as well. We are planning to do it on a budget which is good lol.

Ooh that sounds nice! I didn't know you could get all inclusive weekends :D
